(Minghui.org) Despite the unprecedented persecution, an elderly practitioner holds on to one wish: to tell people the truth about Falun Dafa. She wants people to understand that Falun Dafa is good and to have a bright future. This is her story:
“I am a Falun Dafa practitioner and am almost 80 years old. Since I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997, I returned to good health. Moreover, I am energetic, my body is light, and I feel as if I'm walking on air.
I have achieved a good foundation by doing the three things well and assisting Teacher in the Fa-rectification. Teacher said,
“As Dafa disciples clarify the truth Sharp swords shoot forth from their mouths Tearing open the rotten demons’ lies Lose no time and save them, hurry up and tell them” (“Hurry Up And Tell Them” from Hong Yin II)
For years, I have not stopped telling people the facts about Falun Dafa and saving people face to face.
At first I had strong fear and didn't dare to say “Falun Dafa is good.” I told people only “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and never forgot to tell them the principle, “Good will be rewarded with good, while doing evil will be met with retribution.” Once they accepted that thought, I persuaded them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
As the Fa-rectification is nearing completion, I have changed the way I look at things and identified my shortcomings. Reading practitioners' experience sharing articles on the Minghui website about saving people has been of great help to me. Teacher said,
“Cultivation is cultivation, and cultivation is about getting rid of one’s attachments, putting a stop to bad human behavior and all kinds of fears, including the human attachments of being afraid of this and being afraid of that.” (“Pass the Deadly Test” from The Essentials of Diligent Progress Vol. III)
Telling People the Facts about Falun Dafa
I always hold the thought of saving people in mind when telling people the facts about Falun Dafa. I wanted everyone to know the secret of the Two-Hundred Million- Year -Old Hidden Word Stone, which carries six traditional Chinese characters “The Chinese Communist Party Collapses.”
I run to catch up with anyone walking ahead of me wherever I am and whoever I meet, man or woman, old or young. I let go of my fear and talk confidently.
Twice, someone reported me to the police when I was telling people the facts about Falun Dafa. I was arrested and taken to the police station, where I kept on telling the facts to everyone there. One time I successfully persuaded three people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations and at another time five people, among them the vice superintendent. At first they were annoyed and said I talked too much. Later they seemed to understand that we are saving people. Saving people is my mission. The process of saving people is also that of improving in cultivation.
Elementary Students Awaken to the Facts About Falun Dafa
One time I passed by an elementary school. Three little girls ran over to me and shouted, “Grandma, we kept in mind 'Falun Dafa is good', and achieved excellent scores after quitting the Young Pioneers. This year we were all elected as course representatives. Mei Yu was elected as class monitor. Thank you, grandma.” I told them that my Master taught me to do so. They said immediately, “Thank you Grand Master.”
Mei Yu said, “During my vacation I came down with parotitis, an inflammation of the parotid glands. Because I kept in my mind 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good', I felt no pain, even after the surgery. My auntie came to see me. She burst into tears and took my talisman. One day when I returned home from school, I saw a Shen Yun DVD on our door. I played it for my grandpa. My grandpa's back was not painful anymore after watching the DVD. He had a very good sleep. I was very excited, so I wrote some Falun Dafa truth clarification stickers and posted them on walls and electric poles. I hope that more people will benefit from Falun Dafa.”
Then, ten students ran over to us and said, “We also want to quit the Young Pioneers so that we can have a good future.” They all wanted talismans and shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!”
The next day I thought, “These children's minds were poisoned by the CCP, even while studying the text books. What should we do?” (The propaganda against Falun Dafa is included in student textbooks.) Teacher told us,
“All is for naught if living creatures can’t be saved I shan’t stop until it has covered realms vast and minuscule” (“Hardship” from Hong Yin II)
A Tibetan Girl's Gratitude
One morning, I met a young lady in the park. I waved and said hello to her. She said immediately, “Grandma, please sit down. My boyfriend went to climb the hill and I remained behind because of a stomachache. However, I am afraid that he might leave me.” I told her, “Young lady, I am a Falun Dafa practitioner and follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. We met because we have a predestined relationship. Falun Dafa is a complete cultivation practice, which cultivates mind and body.”
I gave her a truth clarification talisman and persuaded her to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. She gave me her name and said, “I am a Tibetan. It's not easy for us to meet today. I will do well.” I responded, “You look well. Is your stomach all right now?” She stood up and said, “It's really miraculous. I am fine now.” Then her boyfriend walked towards us. He said, “I want you to climb the hill with me.” The girl responded, “Quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Just tell grandma you want to quit.” Her boyfriend agreed. They said, “Thank you, and thanks to Falun Dafa's Master.”
CCP Monitor Understands the Facts About Falun Dafa
One day a person said to me, “You are really busy. You always go outside. What if you fell?” I turned and saw old Xia. I told him, “Thank you for your concern.”
Later, someone told me that he and his wife were monitors and had won awards for their efforts. They sat at the entrance of the community, monitoring everyone and especially practitioners. I thought, “I am walking on a righteous path and cultivating the righteous Fa. Saving people is my mission. I am doing righteous things and do not allow any evil interference.”
Several months later, Xia came down with osteoporosis and was bedridden. His wife fainted in the hospital and his daughter-in-law was angry and a constant complainer. I thought, “This is retribution for monitoring practitioners. Ordinary people are so pitiful. He refused to listen to the facts about Falun Dafa. Now he suffers like this. It's all done by the communist evil specter. I will help him.”
I took a Shen Yun Performance DVD with me and visited his home and watched the DVD with them. I gave them the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and Falun Dafa truth clarification materials. Then, I took care of their needs. They were moved to tears. I asked them to repeat “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” and persuaded them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
About ten days later, Xia felt better and was no longer bedridden. I went to see him and he said, “Doctors said that this kind of illness is not curable. They said that I would be bedridden. I returned to good health because of Falun Dafa. I will no longer commit those evil deeds. I know now that good is rewarded with good and doing evil is met with retribution. You are all good people. I monitored good people, which makes me a bad person. I was told that Falun Dafa is a cult, so I was deceived. I was asking for punishment. I'm sorry, Master Li. I am wrong. I will correct my mistakes.”
Now I only have one thought in my mind, and that is saving people. Saving people is my mission. I will let go of all my attachments, follow Teacher's words, take human things lightly, reach Consummation and return home with Teacher.
