(Minghui.org) The police in Chongqing City, Sichuan Province, recently broke into the homes of several practitioners, robbing them of their personal belongings and lifetime savings. Ms. Zhou Yukun and Ms. Zhao were among the practitioners taken into custody.

On October 16, 2013, about eight policemen from Longxi Town, Yubei District, Chongqing, broke into Ms. Zhou's home and illegally arrested her. They confiscated all of her Falun Gong books, money, and an MP3 player.

The same morning, several policemen broke into Ms. Zhao's barber shop. They took her and her husband, Mr. Zhou Changsheng, into custody and confiscated their desktop computer, printer, DVD burner, tablet computer, MP3 player, Falun Gong books.

The police also confiscated all of the couple's lifetime savings, totaling 300,000 yuan (US$48,000), without giving them any receipt.

The same day, about seven policemen broke into a 72-year-old practitioner's home and arrested him. They also confiscated his personal belongings.

The police were planning to send these practitioners to a brainwashing center and force each family to pay 150 yuan a day over the course of their detention.
