(Minghui.org) In August 2013, a director from the provincial government came to our county to do research for a project. My workplace leaders and staff took him to a banquet, and during the banquet, the director asked me about Falun Gong. He said that when he visited Australia, he saw many Falun Gong practitioners who clarified the facts to him and tried to persuade him to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I asked if he had quit and he said he dared not. I told him that he must withdraw from the CCP from his heart. He became very happy, and shouted over and over again: “Falun Dafa is good! Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) is good!” My work leaders and colleagues sitting around the table were shocked. Those who opposed Dafa dared not say anything.
The leadership in my work system all know that I practice Falun Gong, and it's well known within my province's system. In early July, the provincial and municipal chiefs of the system came to talk with me about my work and life situation. Along with a county leader, the four of us specifically talked about Falun Gong at a hotel. I took this as an opportunity for them to know the truth. I told them how I changed physically and mentally after I began practicing Falun Gong, the facts of the persecution, and the importance of withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations – the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers (referred to as the “three withdrawals”). After the meeting, I wrote a letter to each of them individually to further clarify the facts. Although I didn't ask them to quit the CCP right then, afterwards my workplace leadership no longer came to attempt to “transform” me. Later, the provincial chief called the leader of my workplace and told him to take good care of me and to stop participating in the persecution.
During the 14 years of the persecution, I've been detained, sent to labor camps, demoted and subjected to other persecution. I work at a government agency and everyone in the entire building knows that I practice Falun Gong, so I openly clarify the facts at work every day. Personnel from subordinate units or townships come to file monthly and quarterly business reports with me. I use this opportunity to clarify the facts and advise them to do the three withdrawals, and most of them agreed to quit. What's particularly touching is that some village officials go back and help spread the facts and persuade their friends and family to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliates.
Once, a village accountant who has quit the CCP came to my office to file an agricultural production report. Since it was close to the end of the day, I asked if he could give me a ride on his motorcycle to visit his village. He gladly agreed. When he saw that I carried a big bag of truth-clarification materials, he said, “You want to distribute the materials in my village, don't you? It's getting late and (after the distribution) it's impossible for you to catch a bus back to the county tonight. Why don't you let me help you distribute the materials? I promise I can do it well. I'll distribute to all my nearby villages by tomorrow and bring the goodness of Dafa to the people around me.”
I was happy to hear this. That night I called him around 11 p.m. and asked if he had finished. He said he distributed the materials to all the villages and there were only a couple of copies left, which he would give to his relatives the next day.
