(Minghui.org) I am from northeast China. I have not been practicing Falun Dafa for long but it has already saved my life. The following is my story.
I worked in a mine for 20 years and inhaled dust and hazardous gases every day. In 2010, my throat became swollen and it hurt constantly. My children and wife took me to a large hospital in Shenyang. After a series of tests, I was diagnosed with late stage throat cancer. It had spread to my lung and esophagus. There was a tumor in my throat. Mr. Shi Wenjie
I passed out when I heard the news. When I came to, my wife was crying. She said we could only afford to pay for the exam. We didn't have enough to pay for the surgery and treatments. It would cost 700,000 yuan (US $110, 000) and I might still die in six months. I told my wife that I was fine and did not need the treatments.
I called work and thought the company might help. My supervisor hung up once he heard that I was sick. He would not return my calls. I later found out that I was not an official employee at the mining company and did not have any health insurance.
I was so upset that I left the hospital and went home. I was ready to die. I used the rest of the money to buy a second hand computer to spend the rest of my life on the Internet.
I met a blogger on the Internet who learned that I had cancer. He told me to practice Falun Dafa and that it would cure me. I did not dare to because the government was suppressing the practice. He told me that he used to have bone cancer for years. He was able to survive it through the practice.
With his help, I began to practice Falun Dafa. I gradually learned more about it. It has cured many people and brought hope to many who were lost.
I followed the teachings of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in my everyday life. I became another person. My throat stopped hurting. I gained weight, my complexion became rosy. I had energy. My wife and son were amazed and began to practice it as well.
There was a flood, and all my rice and wheat fields were under water. My family recited in front of the fields, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” The flood subsided and my crops were saved. I was so grateful that Falun Dafa saved me again.
