(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally arrested since the 610 Office in Hunan Province and Changsha City set up a brainwashing center in Laodaohe in the Kaifu District of Changsha City in late August 2013.
At least five of the arrested practitioners' names are known: Mr. Yi Hexi from the Shaofeng TV Factory of Hunan Province; barber Ms. Deng Qinghui from the Furong District of Changsha City; Ms. Peng Liang; Ms. Hu Rong from Ningxiang County; and Ms. Liu Lixia from Liuyang City. The names of the other practitioners are still being investigated.
There has been no news of the practitioners since their arrests. We hope their families don't cooperate with the 610 Offices in Hunan Province and Changsha City, and don't endure the persecution silently. Instead, we hope that they will speak up to resist the persecution, expose the evil, and rescue the practitioners.
Practitioners Tortured in Laodaohe Brainwashing Center
Chen Shulin (pictured below), head of the 610 Office of Hunan Province, has been actively persecuting practitioners since he got the job in September 2011. Under his control and manipulation, the methods of torture used on practitioners in Laodaohe Brainwashing Center have become more vile every year.
The Hunan 610 Office established a province-wide brainwashing facility in Laodaohe in September 2012, and has attempt to brainwash several dozen practitioners from Changsha, Yueyang, Yongzhou, Chenzhou, Xiangtan, Huaihua, Loudi, and Xiangxi. Chen Shulin was put in charge, and he brought in several former practitioners who had enlightened along an evil way (collaborators) from Hainan Province, including Chen Haihua (female) and Song Yuesheng, to serve as “trainers.”
These “trainers” are known for using brutal methods of torture in attempts to pressure practitioners into giving up practicing Falun Gong. They have been invited to brainwashing centers around the country to “share” their experiences in deceiving and persecuting practitioners.
These "trainers" at Laodaohe Brainwashing Center have forced practitioners to watch videos that slandered Falun Gong and its founder around the clock, and deprived them of sleep. They pressed on key acupuncture points to inflict harm on the practitioners without leaving any visible injuries. They have also verbally and physically abused the practitioners and made them read Buddhist texts. If the practitioners refused to read the books, they were forced to stand for a long time or were slapped in the face.
Practitioner Ms. Jiang Meilan, 65, from Xintian County, Yongzhou City, was arrested on September 7, 2012, and taken to Laodaohe Brainwashing Center. She died as a result of torture 23 days later. Injuries covered her body from beatings with electric batons. Her mouth was bruised and blood gushed out from her lower body.
Practitioners Tian Changbao, Zhou Dongying, and Huang Juxiu were held at the brainwashing center during the same time as Ms. Jiang. They were severely persecuted both mentally and physically.
