(Minghui.org) Today's news from mainland China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 5 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 26 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Liping along with Ms. Wang Xinlian and her daughter Ms. Juan Juan were arrested on the evening of September 25, 2013. Ms. Zhang's car was confiscated.

2. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Du Shuming and her sister Ms. Du Shuhui were arrested at home by officers from the Mian County Police Department on the evening of September 26, 2013. Ms. Chen Qing was also arrested.

3. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Yusheng Imprisoned

Ms. Song Yusheng was arrested and taken to the Jimo City Detention Center on August 11, 2013. She was later sentenced by the Jimo City Court. She is now too weak to walk, but she was still transferred to the Shandong Province Prison.

4. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Chen Hong and Ms. Chen Xiuchu Arrested

Mr. Chen Hong was arrested by officers from the Jianshelu Police Station on the morning of September 27, 2013. Officers ransacked his home and confiscated three computers and three printers.

Besides, Ms. Chen Xiuchu was arrested by officers from the Beijuzhai Police Station. Her home was also ransacked.

5. [Xifeng County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Huiling and Her Husband Mr. Wang Xuanhua Arrested

It is rumored that Ms. Li Huiling and her husband Mr. Wang Xuanhua were arrested by community officers form the Dongcheng Police Station on July 8, 2013. Their home was ransacked.

6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yin Hongmei Detained

Ms. Yin Hongmei was arrested by officers from Wafangdian City at noon on June 13, 2012. She is being held at the Dalian City Yaojia Detention Center. Her husband saw that she was kept in a cage.

7. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wu and Ms. Wang were arrested on the afternoon of September 25, 2013, when distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. They were taken to the Dezhou City Economic Development Zone Jinghuabeilu Police Station.

8. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Lei Anxiang Detained

Mr. Lei Anxiang, in his 60s, was arrested and taken to the Chenzhou City Detention Center on September 21, 2013.

9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Juhua Arrested

Ms. Li Juhua was arrested by officers from the Wuhan Railway Police Department, when she was buying a train ticket.

10. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Su Yuping Arrested

Ms. Su Yuping was arrested at home by Dong Gaoshou, director of the Shuangcheng City Judicial Department, on September 26, 2013. Her home was ransacked and picture of the founder of Falun Gong and the book Zhuan Falun were confiscated. She was taken to the local police station and released after her family paid 500 yuan in cash.

11. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Chen Hong Arrested

Ms. Chen Hong was arrested at home by director Ma and other officers from the Jianshelu Police Station on September 27, 2013. They also confiscated her computer, printer, and other items.

12. [Xiangtan County, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Heqing and Ms. Suo Jiyan Detained

Ms. Liu Heqing and Ms. Suo Jiyan were arrested by officers from the Hekou Police Station on the evening of September 1, 2013 when distributing information about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were held at the Xiangtan County Detention Center for 15 days. Their homes were ransacked and cell phones, Falun Gong books, mp5, and some cash confiscated.

13. [Chongqing] Ms. Jiang Arrested

Ms. Jiang was arrested by plainclothes police officers on September 23, 2013, when distributing information about the persecution of Falun Gong at Shengli Road. She was taken to the Shuangfeng Police Station. Police officers then confiscated all Falun Gong books, CDs, mp3, and mp4 at her home. She was released that evening.

14. [Bozhou City, Anhui Province] Mr. Li Haifeng Arrested

Mr. Li Haifeng was arrested by officers from the Bozhou City Domestic Security Division at noon on September 26, 2013.

15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Jili Sent to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Li Jili, 61, was arrested at home on September 13, 2013. She was taken to the Jiangan District Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center.

16. [Chongqing] Mr. Wang Jin Arrested

Mr. Wang Jin was recently arrested.

17. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Aiying Arrested

Ms. Li Aiying was arrested on September 27, 2013.

18. [Dazhu County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Xiao Yongzhi and Ms. Luo Xingbi Detained

Mr. Xiao Yongzhi and Ms. Luo Xingbi were arrested by plainclothes police officers on September 24, 2013 when distributing information about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Zhuyang Town Xi District Police Station. Now they are being held at the Dazhu County Detention Center.
