Gratitude for Falun Dafa That Saved Our Lives

(Minghui.org) I am a Falun Dafa practitioner who learned the practice in 1997. Prior to that, I was pretty much lost in the ordinary world. Having been strongly attached to fame, profit, sentimentality, and hatred, I acquired numerous diseases by age 30. None of my organs seemed normal. My tonsils and appendix had already been taken out. I also had severe cholecystitis. My doctor warned me that it could be life-threatening if I did not have my gall bladder removed. I also had cataracts, heart disease, mammary gland hyperplasia, stomach problems, and serious gynecological problems. Whenever I closed my eyes to sleep, I was never sure if I would wake up. There was not enough money to treat all these health problems, and in order to distract myself from the pain, I played mahjong and smoked a lot. My husband called me a "messenger of death" and was so heartless that he didn't even want to look at me. He spent all his time having fun away from home. My child was so little then that I could not let myself die even if I wanted to.

In the summer of 1997, I got worse. My stomach bloated up and was so big that I could not sleep at night. I had to spend the night on my knees. One day my neighbor passed by my house, and I asked her where she was going. She said she was going to practice some qigong exercises. Because I was constantly ill, many people had tried to convince me that I should believe in Buddhism or other religions, but I was not convinced. However, this time, at that instant, I decided to go take a look. I dragged my heavy body to the exercise site and brought back with me a copy of Zhuan Falun. My husband was an atheist. He had read many world famous classic works, but was extremely interested in this particular book and fought me over it, as if he had found a rare treasure. We took turns reading it throughout the entire night. The next day, I went to the exercise site. Before I could even learn how to do the standing exercises, Teacher Li already started purifying my body. More than a dozen diseases that had plagued me for over a decade disappeared at once. The excitement and gratitude I felt was indescribable. After witnessing this supernormal healing effect and Teacher Li's mighty power, my family, relatives, and neighbors, more than a dozen people all together, started cultivating Falun Dafa.

In 2005, my younger brother, who was not yet a practitioner, began to vomit blood. He went into a coma, and the doctor decided to transfer him to a larger hospital immediately. Everyone at the hospital thought that my brother was not going to make it. My husband and I each took one of his cold hands and spoke into his ears, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" We asked Teacher Li to save him and asked my brother to call out those words in his heart as well. After a while, my brother woke up. A miracle occurred. He stopped vomiting blood. After losing so much blood, he did not even require a transfusion and was discharged two days later. My brother started to practice because of this.

One day after returning home from work, my husband seemed a little depressed and sighed deeply. I asked him what went wrong. He told me that one of his female colleagues at work had glomerulonephritis, which was incurable. She was going to seek treatment in another big city the next day, but was afraid that she might not be coming back, so went to work that day to bid everyone farewell. My husband felt ashamed that we had obtained such a good Dafa, but he was afraid to tell her under the current circumstances. I immediately went to the lady's home and told her the truth about Falun Dafa. She understood and accepted everything. I then helped her quit the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations and told her to repeatedly recite the phrases, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." She said, "If I come back alive, I will practice the Falun Dafa exercises with you." The next day she went to the big hospital for a check up. The doctor said, "Look at the good color in your cheeks. How could you be ill at all?” After being examined, it turned out that, indeed, nothing was wrong with this woman. She began practicing Falun Dafa right away.

A year ago I went to my nephew's home and met his wife's brother-in-law. He came to the city to find out what was wrong with him. The initial diagnosis was prostate cancer. He had difficulty urinating and had abdominal swelling because of the obstruction caused by an enlarged prostate. At the time I saw him, he was unable to eat. His color was poor. My nephew's wife said to me, "Auntie, please save my sister's husband." The gentleman told me that other people had clarified the truth of Falun Dafa to him before, but he did not believe it. I took a look at him and realized that his painful expression reminded me of myself prior to practicing Dafa. Wasn't I the same before? I started to clarify the truth to him very patiently. I told him that Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha school that teaches people to become more benevolent. Dafa is supernormal and has a miraculous curing effect on many diseases. Falun Dafa has been spread all over the world. I told him that the self-immolation incident at Tiananmen Square was fabricated. In Guizhou, there was a rock with naturally formed Chinese characters that read, "Heaven eliminates the Chinese Communist Party." Because heaven will eliminate the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), that's why we need to save ourselves by quitting. It was then that he sat up in bed and said, "Auntie, I understand now. I want to quit the CCP and practice the exercises with you. This illness is not good and it is considered incurable anyway. I will not seek medical treatment anymore. I'm going to practice the exercises." Once he finished speaking, I could see the color on his face change from dark grey to pink. After a while, he went to the restroom to urinate. When it was mealtime, he ate with us. Ever since then, both he and his wife have practiced Falun Dafa. That serious disease was cured without any treatment.

I have seen many similar cases, but I will not list them all right now. My fellow citizens in China, please be quick to recognize the nature of the evil Party and seek the truth in order to save yourselves, as this is the only hope for you to enter the future.
