(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces. In this report, 2 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 10 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Changchun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Liandi Arrested

Ms. Geng Liandi, in her thirties, is from another city but currently works in Changchun City. She was arrested in late October 2012, and held in Weizigou Detention Center in Changchun City for 15 days. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Guiying Arrested

Ms. Wang Guiying, 58, from Beidingwu Village, Liangzhao Town, Renqiu City, was arrested by officers from Liangzhao Town Police Station on November 8, 2012 while she was clarifying the truth at Liangzhao Town Market. Her home was ransacked, and police confiscated about 1,000 yuan in cash, Dafa books, an MP4 player, and other personal belongings. Officers from the Renqiu Domestic Security Division forced Ms. Wang's son to pay 60,000 yuan. Ms. Wang was released after she had been detained in the Renqiu Detention Center for 22 days.

3. [Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Gao Guifeng Held in Detention Center

Ms. Gao Guifeng from Yancheng City was arrested by officers from the Tinghu District 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division in early December 2012. She is being held in the Yancheng City Detention Center.

4. [Beijing] More Information on Mr. Wang Yanpu and His Wife's Arrest

Mr. Wang Yanpu and his wife Ms. Wu Hanying, from Tongzhou District in Beijing, were arrested on September 27, 2010. Ms. Wu was sentenced to two years and has since been released. Mr. Wang was sentenced to four years, and is being held in the Seventh Section of Jinzhong Prison, Chadian Town, Tianjin.

5. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Tao Yufen Arrested

Ms. Tao Yufen, from Hongshan District, Chifeng City, was arrested by officers from the Hongshan District Police Department in Chifeng City in November 2012.

6. [Xingning City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yuan Yumei Arrested

Ms. Yuan Yumei from Xingning City was arrested on December 20, 2012 while she was distributing truth-clarification materials in Longtianxu Town, Xingning City.

7. [Xuyong County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Fu Qingming Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Fu Qingming from Xuyong County was arrested by officers Feng Guangyong and Ma Yuliang, from the Xuyong County Domestic Security Division. Ms. Fu was sentenced to three years in prison by judge Xu Yan from the Xuyong County Court.

8. [Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Liang Xianbo Arrested

Mr. Liang Xianbo was arrested by officers from the Huayuan Police Station.

9. [Ya'an City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wei Kehui, Ms. Chen Maoqin and Ms. Jia Wanxiang Arrested

Ms. Wei Kehui, Ms. Chen Maoqin, and Ms. Jia Wanxiang from Ya'an City were arrested by officers from the Caoba Police Station on the morning of December 20, 2012. They are being held at the Ya'an Domestic Security Division.
