Solemn Declarations from Two Dafa Practitioners

Solemn Declaration

I was reported while distributing truth-clarification materials with another practitioner. I was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison. In prison, I was monitored by three or four people around the clock. I was then 70 years old and forced to wash dishes and mop the floor three times a day. I was subjected to brainwashing, and they forced me to sit on a small stool (a torture device) unless I was having meals, washing dishes, or mopping the floors. I was deprived of sleep, and they limited my restroom use. I was in pain both physically and mentally. In the end, I ended up writing the five statements (similar to the three statements). After I returned home, I was deeply remorseful. I let down Teacher and Dafa.

Thus, I solemnly declare: “The five statements I wrote are null and void. I will restart my cultivation and diligently cultivate myself. I will do the three things well and catch up with the Fa-rectification process.”

Solemn Declaration

More than 20 practitioners from our Fa-study group were arrested on July 9, 2012, and taken to the local police station. We were interrogated overnight and taken to the county detention center the next day. After 14 days of detention, we were taken to face some government authorities. They commanded me to write a guarantee statement. They then notified my family to pick me up, and they ordered my family to write guarantee statements before taking me home.

After I returned home, officials frequently came to my home and ordered me to write the three statements, threatening that my family members and I would otherwise be taken to a brainwashing center. On October 19, they came again and forced me to write the three statements, threatening to send me to a brainwashing center if I refused. My husband signed for me, and I fingerprinted it unwillingly. After this incident, personnel from the 610 Office, local government, and the residential committee came to harass me. I had been cooperative with them since my arrest. Hence, I do not know what they wrote, but I signed several documents and allowed them to take pictures of me.

Therefore, I solemnly declare: “Everything I have said and done that is against Dafa is null and void. I will study the Fa well, do the three things well, make up for the losses that I've caused Dafa, and steadfastly cultivate Dafa.”
