Additional Persecution News from China – December 29, 2012 (15 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces. In this report, 3 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 32 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yan Arrested

Ms. Wang Yan from Zhongshan District was arrested by officers from the Zhongshan Police Department in Dalian City on July 6, 2012. She is being held at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

3. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Ma Xiaoguang and Another Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Bao Wenju from Jilin City, Mr. Ma Xiaoguang, Mr. Wang Xiufeng, Mr. Li Ming, Mr. Bao Wenrong, Mr. Gao Liu and a non-practitioner driver from Chifeng City were arrested by officers from the Chifeng National Security Bureau and Ao'han 610 Office on December 21, 2012. They are being held at the Ao'han Detention Center.

4. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Guang Arrested

Mr. Li Guang from Bayuquan District, Yingkou City was arrested on November 30, 2012. He is being held at the Bayuquan Detention Center. His family is not allowed to visit him.

5. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Guiqin Arrested

Ms. Zhao Guiqin from Changshan Town, Donggang City was arrested by approximately four plainclothes police on the morning of December 27, 2012. Her whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Xiao Zhigang Arrested

Around six to seven police from Zhaozhou County in Daqing City arrested Mr. Xiao Zhigang on the morning of December 27, 2012. Mr. Zhao's laptop was confiscated.

7. [Beijing] Ms. He Limin Arrested

Ms. He Limin from Beijing was arrested at her workplace at the end of October 2012. Her whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Yonghong Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yonghong was arrested by officers from the Daodong Police Station on December 29, 2012, while she was distributing truth clarification materials.

9. [Beijing] More information on Mr. Liu Yujian's Arrest

Mr. Liu Yujian was arrested by officers from the Shuangyushu Police Station in the Haidian District on November 16, 2012. He was later transferred to the Haidian District Detention Center. He was recently sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor.

10. [Ningxiang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhu Chuxia and Others Arrested

Ms. Zhu Chuxia, Mr. Dong Zhao and Ms. Yao Dahua from Ningxiang County were arrested by officers from the Bairuopu Police Station in the Wangcheng District, Changsha City, Hunan Province on the evening of December 21, 2012. They are being held at the Wangcheng District Detention Center.

Ms. Li Rong and Ms. Ye Haihua were arrested by officers from the Getang Town Police Station in the Wangcheng District, Changsha City on or about December 15, 2012. They are being held at the Wangcheng District Detention Center.

12. [Fengning County, Hebei Province] More Information on Ms. Liu Guilan's Arrest

Ms. Liu Guilan from Fengning Manchu Autonomous County in Hebei Province was arrested in Nankou Town by officers from the 610 Office and the police station in Changping District, Beijing on December 22, 2012. She is held at the Liuzhuang Detention Center in the Changping District. Her family is not allowed to see her.

13. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Eleven Practitioners Arrested

A total of 11 practitioners were arrested by officers from the Changyi Domestic Security Division and Beimeng Town Police Station when they visited Ms. Li Chulian at the Guojiashangtan Village, Beimeng Town on December 25, 2012. They are: Ms. Guo Wenshan from Miaojia Village, Ms. Fan Xiufang, Ms. Zhou Qin from Chujia Village, Ms. Yin from Guojia Village, Ms. Zhao Yumei from Zhuyang Village, Mr. Yang Xianxiang, Ms. Guo Changlan from Majiamiao, Ms. Hao Lan from Zhashan Town, Ms. Guo from Ta'erpu Village, Ms. Chen, and Mr. Guo Lianjun. Their Dafa books, exercise DVDs, and cash were confiscated. Apart from Ms. Chen, Mr. Guo Lianjun, and Ms. Hao Lan, the rest of the practitioners have been sent home.

14. [Beijing] Ms. Guo Pingzhen Arrested

Ms. Guo Pingzhen from Wuxue City, Hubei Province was arrested on December 21, 2012 when she went to Beijing on business. Ms. Guo is being held at Wenyang Road No. 25, Sujiatuo Town, Haidian District, Beijing.

15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Luo Fengxia Arrested

Ms. Luo Fengxia from Wuhan City was arrested on December 13, 2012 while she was distributing Shen Yun DVDs. She is being held at the Dongxihu Detention Center in Wuhan.
