Heaven Issues Warnings and Buddhas Show Mercy
Heaven is watching closely what humans are doing. The brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP has brought out tremendous acts of courage by practitioners during the past 13 years. This has not only left Beijing residents in awe, but also moved Heaven and Earth. Since ancient times, Buddhas and gods have never given up their protection of kindhearted people, nor have they stopped their admonishments of evildoers.
July Snow in the Capital City
Ancient Chinese society always believed in the oneness of heaven and earth. At 4:20 p.m. on July 12 of this year, Beijing was hit with a surprise snow shower. As a matter of fact, since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, summer snows in June or July have become all too common in Beijing and other parts of the country.
Warnings of the 7-21 Downpour
On July 21 and 22, 2012, Beijing got struck with the most severe torrential rain in 61 years. According to Beijing residents, the death toll was in the thousands, yet the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) insisted there were a mere 37 casualties. Later they grudgingly updated the number to 77 in an attempt to contain the public outcry.
July 21 was the date of when the CCP launched its suppression of Falun Gong 13 years ago. A sage once implied that natural calamities were indeed the result of governments abusing their power to insult Buddhas and imposing injustice upon innocent people.
The Blossoming of Udumbara Flowers
According to the Dirghagama-sutra, the udumbara flower blooms only once every three thousand years. Shakyamuni told his disciples that when the udumbara blooms, it would signify the time that Chakravartin (wheel-turning king) descends to the human world to preach the Buddha Law.
Since 1997, udumbara flower blossoms have been spotted in China and other parts of the world. Many Falun Gong practitioners have been fortunate to find clusters of udumbara flowers in or near their homes. One disciple in Beijing once noticed more than 20 udumbara flowers outside his office window.
Evil-doers Receive their Due Retribution
Gods are omniscient and will never let evildoers that refuse to be saved off the hook. It is a heavenly principle that good and evil will receive their due retribution. Such a principle is also a manifestation of the solemnness of the Buddha Law. Many of the people that followed the CCP to commit crimes against Falun Gong have received or are facing retribution, regardless of their official ranks.
High-ranking CCP Officials Sued in Taiwan
At 10:00 a.m. on February 16 of this year, the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association and its lawyers presented detailed evidence to a Taipei prosecutor of then-Beijing Mayor Guo Jinlong’s crimes against Falun Gong. Upon hearing their request to summon and arrest Guo, the prosecutor asked for his photo and Taiwan visit itinerary right away.
During his tenure as Anhui Province Party Secretary in 2004, Guo Jinlong openly proposed a strategy to attack Falun Gong, and at least 37 practitioners were arrested under his directive. When he served as acting chairman of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games in 2008, he ordered the arrest of 586 practitioners in half a year. After he became Beijing Mayor, he once directed the arrest of 104 practitioners in just a few days. According to Minghui Weekly reports, he also greatly encouraged police officers to work harder in the persecution of Falun Gong.
Ji Lin, former Vice Mayor and Political and Legal Committee Party Secretary of Beijing, was deeply involved in the arrest of Falun Gong practitioners in 2008, when he served as a deputy director of the BOCOG Coordination Team. When he visited Taiwan last year, he was sued twice on December 13, 2011 alone for harming the general public and violating human rights. He is the sixth high-ranking CCP official to be sued in Taiwan, following Xu Guangchun, Huang Huahua, Zhao Zhengyong, Wang Zuoan and Yang Song.
After the July 21st downpour this year, Guo Jinglong and Ji Lin were both removed from their posts.
Liu Qi, former Beijing Party Secretary and one of the chief culprits in the persecution of Falun Gong, was purged after his boss, Zhou Yongkang, lost favor with the current CCP leaders.
Evildoing Guards Receive Their Retribution
Beijing Women’s Labor Camp is one of the evil dens the CCP uses to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Many guards there have received retribution for their cruelty to Falun Gong practitioners. This year Lin Li, a guard in her 30s, was diagnosed with throat cancer.
Almost two thirds of 2012 has passed and countless calamities have already occurred in China. The days are numbered for those who still refuse to listen to the truth and follow the CCP to do evil. More than 120 million people have chosen to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Moved by the mighty power of righteousness, more and more people are going to eventually make the right decision to break free from the CCP, treat Falun Gong kindly and position themselves for a bright future.
