(Minghui.org) From August 31 to September 3, the annual Taste of Colorado festival was held in Civic Center Park in Denver, attracting over 500,000 local residents and tourists to the Rocky Mountain area. Local Falun Gong practitioners held a petition drive during the festival to raise awareness of the persecution in China and the Chinese Communist Party’s atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners in China.

During the activity, practitioners carried different kinds of hand-made posters which read “Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong,” “End the Unethical Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China”, and more
While the practitioners started collecting signatures outside the festival entrance, they were later invited to hold their activity inside the festival venue. The practitioners formed several groups so that they could serve more people at the same time. Many people had already heard about the persecution and/or the organ harvesting atrocities, and when they saw the posters, they often asked:
“Can I sign the petition?”
