(Minghui.org) Many stories have been reported involving people who are blessed with good fortune when they practice Falun Gong. Ms. Dai from Hengchun Peninsula of southern Taiwan is one of them. She previously suffered from cancer, but she is now completely healthy because of Falun Gong. She has been spared from two floods and one major earthquake in five years. Her neighbors have witnessed the miracles of Falun Gong as a result.
Ms. Dai suffered from cervical cancer and 13 other diseases. She had sought various medical treatments and even sought the help of a fortune teller, but nothing helped. She felt like her suffering was worse than death. However, she started practicing Falun Gong in February 2000, after being introduced to the practice by a friend. She felt very fortunate to have an opportunity to listen to the lectures of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, at the point when she felt as though her life was about to end. She treasured the opportunity and practiced Falun Gong diligently. Two months later her illnesses, which had tormented her for many years, all gradually disappeared. Ms. Dai said, "Master Li Hongzhi has saved me with His compassion. The grace of the Lord Buddha is boundless."
Typhoon Tembin hit Taiwan on August 24, 2012 and caused major flooding in Hengchun Town. The water reached the second floor of some buildings along some streets. The water reached knee-height in Ms. Dai's neighborhood. Ms. Dai was out of town during the typhoon to be part of a Divine Land Marching Band performance. After she returned, two neighbors, Mr. Chen and Mr. Chang, both told her, "It was a miracle. The flood turned before your house. I have never seen anything like it in my life."
The flood came swiftly when the typhoon hit Hengchun. The flooding came from the left side of her house, but stopped right before her door. Another swell of water came from the right side of her house and quickly flooded the first floor of Mr. Chen's house next door before it entered Mr. Chang's across the street. But the flood didn't reach Ms. Dai's home. Mr. Chen and Mr. Chang were puzzled, yet Ms. Dai knew that it was Falun Gong that protected her home from harm.

Another miracle happened four years ago, when Ms. Dai was renting a home at 14 Shengbei Road. One day the town was flooded in a storm. The flooding reached about one foot in height in her neighborhood. After the water receded, every house was coated with a thick layer of mud. Ms. Dai's home was flooded, but there was not a trace of mud after the water receded. Her house was perfectly clean with only some signs of watermarks remaining after the flood. Her neighbors were marveled. "Why was Ms. Dai's home protected by heaven?"
An earthquake hit Hengchun five years ago. Ms. Dai was shocked when she felt the earthquake, but nothing moved or fell in her home. Her neighbors' homes, on the other hand, were an unbearable sight. TVs fell and were smashed. Cabinets fell down and refrigerators also fell over. Her neighbors were marveled that everything in Ms. Dai's home was completely intact. It appeared as though she was favored by heaven. Ms. Dai explained to her neighbors that she was blessed because she practices Falun Gong.
