(Minghui.org) A grand parade was held on September 15, 2012, in Chatswood, the major retail and entertainment district of Sydney's North Shore. The Chatswood Town Hall sponsored the event to celebrate spring, with a theme promoting cultural diversity and interaction.
Fifty-eight entries from different races and ethnicities participated, including the Falun Dafa Divine Land Marching Band. This band has won awards many times in community activities. The host praised the Falun Gong group, which was warmly applauded by spectators on both sides of the road. People were busy taking photos and having their photos taken with the band. They expressed their appreciation for what Falun Gong practitioners brought to the occasion.
