(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 12 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 3 practitioners were illegally illegally arrested.

Ms. Mu Caiying went missing on September 3, 2012. Her whereabouts are still unknown.

2. [Daqing, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Bin Sent to Brainwashing Center
Mr. Zhang Bin was sent to the Yichun Brainwashing Center by officers from his workplace, the Yichun Ethylene Factory, on August 31, 2012.
3. [Jiahe County, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Jumei Persecuted for Over a Decade
Ms. Li Jumei, 54, worked as a teacher at the Zhuquanwan Elementary School. She has been persecuted multiple times for practicing Falun Gong.
On the night of July 13, 2000, she was arrested and detained for 40 days. She had 4,400 yuan extorted from her.
In October 2000, Ms. Li was arrested again in her friend's home. She was detained for 180 days and had 5,200 yuan extorted from her. The police took 300 yuan in cash from her pocket, and she was deprived of her salary for three months.
In December 2001, Ms. Li was arrested at home and detained for 2 weeks. She had 2,000 yuan extorted from her.
In November 2002, she was detained for 30 days.
In April 2004, Ms. Li was forced to leave home to avoid being arrested again. Later, she was detained in a forced labor camp for 18 months. She was deprived of her salary for two years.
In June 2007, she was again detained in a forced labor camp for 18 months. She was also deprived of her salary during that period of time.
In August 2009, she was arrested and detained for more than 4 months. She developed an incurable illness after being tortured and then she was released on bail. During that period, Ms. Li was deprived of her salary for more than three years.
4. [Changsha, Hunan Province] Mr. Tian Changdao Sent to Brainwashing Center
Mr. Tian Changdao is in his 70s. Six policemen from the Yuhua District Police Station broke into Mr. Tian's home and arrested him on the morning of September 2, 201. He was sent to the Laodaohe Brainwashing Center.
5. [Taicang, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Qin Yanqiu Detained
Ms. Qin Yanqiu was arrested on September 1, 2012. She is currently held in the Taicang Detention Center
6. [Jimo, Shandong Province] Mr. Su Zilong and His Parents Detained
Jimo 610 Office agents arrested over 20 practitioners on August 1, 2012. Mr. Su Zilong was released after being detained for one month. He returned home on August 31. However, his father, Mr. Su Wen, and mother, Ms. Sui Juanru, are still detained.
7. [Yushu, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Harassed
On August 27 and 28, 2012, Ms. Zhang Junyan from Qingshan Township was harassed three times by agents from the local police station. Ms. Zhang Huayun was harassed twice. Mr. Zhu Zhanshan was harassed three times by policemen from the Zhanqian Police Station.
8. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Mr. Che Zhongshan and His Wife, Ms. Wan Chune, Detained
Mr. Che Zhongshan from Jinzhou District was arrested by officers from the Kuiying Road Police Station on the morning of July 6, 2012. He was injured during the arrest. In the afternoon, his wife, Ms. Wang Chune, was also arrested. Their motorcycle, cash and many other personal belongings in the garage were confiscated.
Mr. Che went on a hunger strike as soon as he was taken to a detention center.
Ms. Wang was previously incarcerated in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for 1 year.

9. [Fusong, Jilin Province] Ms. Hai Yan and Ms. Zhang Yurong Detained
Officers from the Fusong Police Station and the Lushuhe Police Station arrested 6 practitioners, including Ms. Guo Shuhua, on August 9, 2012.
On August 29, Ms. Zhang Yurong, Ms. Hai Yan and a little girl named Liu Lu went to the Fusong Police Department to request release of the girl's mother. However, Ms. Hai and Ms. Zhang were detained. Ms.Hai's home was ransacked.
