(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 3 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during detention and at least 14 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Hao Jianling is a Falun Gong practitioner in Yibuzhai Village, Funing County. On the day she was released from the Shijiazhuang Women's Prison on July 16, 2012, she taken directly to the Langfang Brainwashing Center.

3. [Jingmen, Hubei Province] Mr. Long Tingfan Taken to the Huyaguan Detention Center

On the night of July 27, 2012, Ms. Long Tingpan and Ms. Lan Jinlan were arrested by the Jingmen police. Ms. Lan has been released, and Ms. Long is being held in the Huyaguan Detention Center in Jingmen.

5. [Chongqing] Mr. Tang Jian Tortured by Prison Guards

Mr. Tang Jian was severely tortured in Yongchuan Prison in Chongqing. He is very weak and has

high blood pressure and scabies. His wife, Li Xiao, requested that the prison send him to a hospital to be examined, but the prison refused to comply.

Ms. Jin Lanying, Ms. Xiu Yali, Ms. Zhen Ma, and Ms. Fan Guiying from the Xianan District were reported for distributing Falun Gong materials on the morning of July 28, 2012. They were picked up by officers from the Guihua Police Station. Ms. Fan Guiying and Ms. Zhen Ma have been released. Ms. Jin and Ms. Xiu are in the Maoershan Detention Center in Xianning.

Ms. Han Minglan from Ershijiazi, Chaoyang County, was taken away by Zhao Qiang and other officers from the Chaoyang Domestic Security Division on the night of July 29, 2012.

8. [Huludao, Liaoning Province] Persecution Accounts of Falun Gong Practitioners in the Liaoning Provincial Women's Prison

Ms. Li Chunqing is being held in the First Division of the Liaoning Provincial Women's Prison. Two “collaborators” watched her and didn't let her sleep. They also forced her to sit on a stool to try to “transform” her.

The guards shocked Ms. Ying Lixian with electric batons because she did the Falun Gong exercises. Ms. Ying is detained in a small cell and other prisoners take turns watching her.

10. [Jinhua, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Cao Baoxian Arrested

Mr. Cao Baoxian is a Falun Gong practitioner in Hanxiang Township, Jinhua. On July 29, 2012, at around noon, he was picked up by officers from the Jindong District Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office. His whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Mr. Bian Yidong Arrested

Mr. Bian Yidong is a teacher at Xujiahu High School in Yishui County. On the morning of July 24, 2012, he was forcibly taken away by Zong Shanbin and other officers from the Xujiahu Police Station. His home was also ransacked. He is being detained in the Xujiahu Detention Center.

12. [Zhuozhou, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Sujuan Arrested

Ms. Wang Sujuan lives in Yaoshang Village, Dongchengfang, Zhuozhou. On July 29, 2012, at noon, she was taken from her home by the Zhuozhou Domestic Security Division and the local police.

13. [Meizhou, Guangdong Province] Additional Information about Arrested Ms. Wang Chunmei

Ms. Wang Chunmei was arrested on July 4, 2012. She was transferred to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term on July 25, 2012.

14. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuqing Arrested

On the morning of July 26, 2012, four people from the Shidongzigou Police Station in the Shuangshiqiao District broke into Ms. Zhang Xiuqing's home and took her away. Ms. Her home was also ransacked. She is being held in the detention center.
