(Minghui.org) Recently, fellow practitioners told me three experiences they had clarifying the truth to people they met. Their accounts helped me realize just how much people wish to be saved, as well as how urgent it is for us to do it.
Head Deputy Helps His Children Quit the CCP
One of my fellow practitioner's friends was the head deputy of the local police division. The practitioner decided to go to his house to clarify the truth. Once the deputy and his wife understood the truth, they immediately quit the CCP. Since withdrawals from the CCP must be made personally, the deputy's children could not quit the CCP at the time because they were not there.
Two years later, my fellow practitioner had almost forgotten about it, when the couple paid a visit along with the gift of some watermelons. After the initial greetings, they asked him to help their children quit the CCP. He realized that the entire point of the visit was to enlist him to help their children quit the CCP as well.
Breaking Though Barriers to Help a Judge Quit the CCP
While grocery shopping one day, a practitioner encountered a local judge she knew. This judge often presided over trials persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Thus, the practitioner was cautious, but if the judge wished to learn the truth, she thought, all he has to do is follow me to the next grocery store. Everyone knew that she was a Dafa practitioner.
Just when the practitioner was deciding what to buy, the judge came up to her. The practitioner was pleasantly surprised that he had sought her out for the truth. The practitioner's caution instantly melted away into kindness, and she urgently told him the facts about Falun Dafa. Contrary to the practitioner's impression of the judge, he actually understood a lot about Falun Gong from his trials and was quick to fully grasp the truth. He immediately quit the CCP, saying, “It's heaven's will. Let's quit!” After announcing his withdrawal from the CCP, the 50-year-old judge skipped out like a happy child and said, “What you told me today was priceless.”
Later, the practitioner happened to meet the judge again. She asked if he had helped his family quit the CCP. The judge told her, “Every word of Falun Gong is right. I believe that everything about it is true. I have helped my family and friends quit the CCP all by myself.” The practitioner replied, “I'm so happy you could understand the truth!”
Two Police Officers Ask for Fliers
One day, a practitioner passed out truth-clarification materials to passers-by on his way home. He continued in this fashion until he came across five men in front of him. He handed each of them a flier and began to clarify the truth to them.
Unbeknownst to the practitioner, two policemen arrived a few meters behind him. Because the police usually show up only to arrest Dafa practitioners, this practitioner was slightly scared. He planned to speak when there was another chance and decided not to give the policemen fliers. The practitioner then boarded the bus that had just arrived.
Suddenly, one of the policemen called out to the practitioner, “How come you didn't give us any fliers? You should at least give us one.” Hearing this, the practitioner immediately got off the bus and handed them fliers. He smiled, “Here you go!” The practitioner also gave them a copy of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. The practitioner then dipped his thumb into a small container of ink and signed the book with his thumbprint. He told the police officers all the facts about Falun Dafa and told them to stop participating in the persecution. After getting their materials, the policemen went along their way.
The people in modern society, regardless of their social class or wealth, are all desperate to hear the truth about Dafa. As Falun Gong practitioners, we should try to save everyone we meet and not choose who we want to save. We should try not to miss anyone who can hear the truth.
