(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 27 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, 17 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 37 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Jinping Arrested and Detained
Ms. Chen Jinping, 65, was arrested while handing out informational materials about Falun Gong on June 10, 2012. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, informational materials, cash, and other personal belongings. Ms. Chen was taken to the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center in Jiang'an District and then transferred to the Erzhigou Detention Center for a 15-day term.
2. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Qiupeng Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Zhang Qiupeng, 59, was reported for speaking with people about Falun Gong on June 13, 2012. She was arrested and taken to the Jiazhuang Police Station in Zhangdian District. The next day she was taken to the Fujia Detention Center and then transferred to the Wangzhuang Brainwashing Center on June 18, 2012.
3. [Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Chen Yunlan Arrested
Ms. Chen Yunlan was arrested on June 10, 2012.
4. [Baishan City, Jinlin Province] Ms. Ruan Jing Detained
Ms. Ruan Jing is an employee of the Quanyang Forestry Bureau in Fusong County, Baishan City. She was reported to police while speaking with people about Falun Gong on June 8, 2012, and subsequently arrested. She was detained at the Fusong County Detention Center for a 15-day term.
5. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ge Lingren and Ms. Yang Yuqun Arrested
Ms. Ge Lingren and Ms. Yang Yuqun were arrested on June 18, 2012. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
6. [Xiangtan County, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhao Wenke Sent to Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Zhao Wenke is from Wenjia Village, Shebu Town, Xiangtan County. Officers from the Shebu Town Police Station broke into his home on May 24, 2012, and arrested him. The police also confiscated his computer. On June 9, 2012, Mr. Zhao was taken to the Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp in Changsha City.
7. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Song Yusheng Arrested and Detained
Mr. Song Yusheng was arrested by officers from the Tianheng Town Police Station while talking to people about Falun Gong at the Tianheng Town Market on the morning of June 19, 2012. He was taken to the Tianheng Town Police Station and sent to the Jimo Detention Center in the afternoon.

8. [Tianjin] Ms. Duan Huiqin Sent to Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Duan Huiqin was arrested while speaking to people about Falun Gong at a market on May 20, 2012. She was taken to the Fengnian Village Detention Center and later transferred to the Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp.
9. [Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Guirong Detained
Xinfu District police officers Zhai Junhua and Li Xiaojun, along with officers from Shanglan Village, broke into Ms. Wang Guirong's home on May 21, 2012, and arrested her. Ms. Wang is being held at the Ximenpo Detention Center.
10. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Xuebin Arrested
Ms. Xu Xuebin was arrested by officers from the Panjin Domestic Security Division on June 19, 2012.

Mr. Liu Yongjun was arrested at home by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Qingpu Police Department on June 18, 2012. His computer was confiscated. Ms. Liu was taken to a brainwashing center.
14. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested
Nine practitioners were recently arrested, including Mr. Ji Jian, Ms. Wang Lei, Ms. Chen Jufang, Ms. Zheng Cuifang, Mr. Huang Hanlin, Ms. Qin Shuiying, Mr. He Wei, Mr. Cai, and Mr. Shan.

15. [Shanghai] Ms. He Yingzi Arrested

16. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Cui Haicun Arrested
Several officers broke into Mr. Cui Haicun's home in Sanxiao Village, Yaocun Town, Linzhou City, on the evening of June 19, 2012, and arrested him.

The following practitioners were harassed by the authorities on June 18, 2012: Mr. Liu Yanlong, Mr. Cui Song, Ms. Gu Fengqin, Ms. Zhang Chunying, Ms. Ren Hongxia, Ms. Guan Yan, Mr. Wang Zhiwen, Mr. Tian Fusen, Mr. Li Chunsheng, and Ms. Shao Lihong.
Ms. Liu Shufen was arrested and taken to the Jiaohe City Detention Center. Mr. Chen Guangsen was arrested; his whereabouts are unknown.

18. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Bing Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Ms. Yang Bing was recently sentenced to one year of forced labor for practicing Falun Gong.
19. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wei Wenli Detained
Ms. Wei Wenli, 60, was arrested by officers from the Haijun Police Station on June 17, 2012. She was sent to the Yaojia Detention Center.
20. [Bazhong City, Sichuan Province] Five Practitioners Beaten and Arrested
Five practitioners, including Mr. Wu Baicheng, Mr. Wang Sinian, Ms. Li Zhanfang, Mr. Li Zhiming, and Mr. He Qian, were beaten on Xinping Street on June 13, 2012, by officials from the Pingchang County Political and Legal Affairs Committee. All five practitioners were arrested. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
21. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Shumin Detained
Ms. Zhang Shumin was arrested by the Laizhou City Patrol Police officers while she spoke to people about Falun Gong in Laizhou Market on May 23, 2012. She was held at the Laizhou Detention Center for 14 days, but was recently released.
22. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Xiuling Arrested
Ms. Xu Xiuling, a teacher at the Zhang Aokou Elementary School in Xishui County, was arrested by officers from the Xishui County 610 Office on June 18, 2012.
23. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Shengju Arrested
Ms. Chen Shengju and her sister were reported to the authorities for speaking with people about Falun Gong at a farmers' market on June 20, 2012. They were arrested and taken to the Jingzhou City Police Department. Ms. Chen was taken to the Ximen Detention Center. Her sister was released due to health problems.
24. [Chongqing] Ms. Tan Jiafen Detained
Ms. Tan Jiafen, in her 60s, was arrested by officers from the Shahe Police Station and the local police department while distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Shahe Town, Wanzhou District, on June 19, 2012. She is being held at the Zhoujiaba Detention Center.

The Jiageda District Court tried Mr. Li Wei on June 5, 2012, and sentenced him to five years in prison.
26. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Fengzhi Sent to Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Zhang Fengzhi, from Beizhuang Village, Shiting Town, Laishui County, was sentenced to one year of forced labor. She was transferred to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp on June 16, 2012.
