(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wu Liming, from Nenjiang County, Heilongjiang Province, was illegally sentenced to an eight-year prison term in April 2012 by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). She is currently incarcerated at the Harbin Women's Prison. She has previously lived away from home for ten years to avoid illegal arrest.

Ms. Wu Liming was formerly an employee at the Nenjiang County No. 2 Department Store. She has been persecuted many times since the persecution started for remaining steadfast in her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Since 2002 she has had to live away from home to avoid being illegally arrested, after five practitioners were arrested by officers from the Nenjiang Farm Police Department. Ms. Wu hasn't seen her family in ten years.

Ms. Wu Liming was arrested and sentenced to two years in Zhenlai Forced Labor Camp in June 2011. Officials from the Nenjiang Farm Police Department transferred her to the Jiusan Detention Center of Heilongjiang Province in September 2011. The Jiusan Legal System sentenced her to eight years in prison in April 2012.

Ms. Wu's husband is not a Falun Gong practitioner, but he was also implicated. He was arrested along with other practitioners in December 2001, and sentenced to seven years in prison. He was physically abused and tortured, which caused him to become very weak. Since being released, he has made a living by driving a taxi. Ms. Wu's only daughter has to take care of her ill father as well as her five-year-old daughter. Since Ms. Wu was imprisoned, her daughter has has nowhere to appeal the injustice.
