(Minghui.org) “This issue relates to everyone in the world. Everyone’s conscience is being tested,” said Ms. Zhao, a Falun Gong practitioner, regarding the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong and the CCP’s atrocity of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Along with other practitioners from Munich and Bavaria, she participated in an event at the Chinese Consulate in Munich on July 22, 2012, to call attention to and protest the CCP's persecution.

Falun Gong practitioners protest the CCP’s persecution in front of the Chinese Consulate in Munich

Since Falun Gong was made public in 1992 until the time the CCP initiated the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999, more than one hundred million Chinese people took up the practice of Falun Gong. Over the past 13 years of persecution, more than 3,500 Falun Gong practitioners have died as a result of the CCP's brutality, although the actual number could be much higher. The most horrible crime is that the CCP permits the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, for use in lucrative transplantation surgeries. For the past 13 years, Falun Gong practitioners worldwide continue to peacefully protest the persecution and detail the CCP’s crimes.

“Countless Falun Gong practitioners in China risk their lives to expose the persecution in China. We overseas Falun Gong practitioners also tell Westerners what is happening in China, because this matter relates to everyone in the world. Each person's conscience is being tested." Because Ms. Zhao understands the seriousness of this matter, she also went to the Chinese Consulate to express her feelings.

After reading about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, a woman passing by came back to pick up more informational materials and said that she would help to distribute them. A policeman on duty said that it felt good to see the practitioners' peaceful demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises. He said he planned to get some more information about the practice. An old man living in the vicinity had seen the practitioners' peaceful protests for years, but he still did not know what Falun Gong was or why the CCP persecutes it. This time he asked for information. After reading the materials, he deliberately returned to thank the practitioners and said that he had finally gotten an answer to his questions. Another man who knew all about the persecution of Falun Gong said as he pointed at the Chinese Consulate, "There shouldn't be a CCP."
