Gallstones Disappear after Practicing Falun Gong

(Minghui.org) With great joy, I recall the sadness and happiness that I have experienced for the past 15 years of my Falun Dafa cultivation. My sadness is for the 13-year brutal persecution that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has inflicted upon the good people who follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. My happiness is for the many sentient beings who understand the true nature of the wicked CCP. Because of the continuous efforts by Dafa disciples who are following Master's guidance, more and more sentient beings have awakened to the CCP's pervasive lies. Through hazy clouds, they've seen the truth of the persecution against Dafa, and they have thus selected an auspicious future for themselves.

I have obtained countless and indescribable benefits from Dafa over these 15 years, and some of them are described below.

Protected by Gods

I was diagnosed with gallstones in the spring of 1997, and I tried various remedies to no avail. I finally heard that practicing Falun Gong could help. My son dropped me off at a group exercise site, and I had the attitude of just “trying and seeing.” I stayed in the car to watch the practitioners doing exercises because I was too ill and weak to get out. On my way home, I already began to feel less pain than before. Surprisingly, I could easily get out of the car myself when we got home. After not eating anything for over 20 days, I even felt like having some vegetable soup. My son said to me joyfully, “It is really miraculous. You have already recovered so much even though you only watched the exercises.” I had one small bowl of vegetable soup and then gradually ate more and more.

When my son took me to the exercise site the next day, I could get out of the car myself and practice the exercises with the practitioners. On the third day, I walked to the group exercises site myself. I felt unspeakable happiness.

It is amazing that I did not spend any money or take any medicine, and this serious disease disappeared. How great Master is! He eliminated my disease without even seeing me at all. I thought in my heart: “Only gods have such enormous compassion and the power to do that. Doesn't it mean that I have been protected by Gods?” I cried excitedly and knew in that moment that Falun Dafa is the law of Buddha, and that Master is omnipotent. I will follow Master to cultivate in Dafa forever to the end.

My Daughter-in-Law's Remarks

People intrigue and deceive each other nowadays, creating extreme exhaustion and stress for themselves. My daughter-in-law's brother is a wealthy farmer. Even though he has a good life superficially, he is also often vexed. My daughter-in-law said to him, “Can you guess who has the best lives, and who are the happiest people in the whole world? To me, Falun Gong practitioners are because they are not affected by fame, gain, and emotions. They neither envy successful people, nor do they look down on those who are less fortunate. They are not distracted by others' opinions, and they live comfortably. To me, Falun Gong practitioners are the most trustful, dependable, and honest among all people. They do what they say they will.”

My daughter-in-law is a clothing retailer. On one occasion, when some of her girl friends complained that their mothers-in-law were unreasonable, did not share household chores, and favored their own daughters more, my daughter-in-law said, “The luckiest thing is to have a mother-in-law who practices Falun Gong. My mother-in-law is a Falun Gong practitioner. If I am unhappy, she quickly looks inward to find her own shortcomings. People call it 'searching inward.' All Falun Gong practitioners follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to cultivate. They are always thoughtful and considerate of others. You see, I never have those problems that you speak of.”

What My Son Said to the Police

Because I persisted in practicing Falun Gong, I was illegally arrested and detained in a forced labor camp in 2007. During my detention my son went to the police department, the National Security Team, and the 610 Office to explain to the officers the reasons for my practicing Falun Gong. He was told, “Falun Gong has been banned by our government. You should advise your mother to stop practicing it. It costs you too much time because of her and causes you too many problems at your work. It is better that you have your mother write a guarantee statement, and then we will release her.”

My son replied, “I know my mother will not do it. She will never give up practicing Falun Gong. When she had gallstones 10 years ago, she endured a lot of suffering and spent a ton of money to cure it without success. Even worse, the medical treatment she received caused cerebral circulation insufficiency, heart disease, and other ailments. She felt hopeless. However, all her diseases disappeared a few days after she started practicing Falun Gong. She has been healthy since then, and her character has also improved. My wife agrees that my mother was like a new person after she started practicing Falun Gong. The parents of some friends of mine are younger than my mother, but they all suffer from different diseases and, needless to say, spend a lot of time and money searching for treatments all over the country. Isn't it good that my mother has been healthy and caused me no worry? If that had happened to your own mother, would you advise her to stop practicing it?”

The officers then stated, “We will let her go if she reveals the names of some practitioners.” My son responded immediately, “She won't do it even if she is tortured to death. She keeps saying that she cultivates the law of Buddha. She will do nothing against her conscience. She will not forget what is right in the sight of profit or do any unjust or immoral thing.”

As a matter of fact, those officers understand clearly what kind of people Falun Gong practitioners are. They all know that Falun Gong practitioners are good people. For example: When I was detained in a forced labor camp, one of the prisoners reported to a guard leader that he lost 50 yuan. The guard leader ordered, “Everyone except Falun Gong practitioners are to have body searches. They are excluded because Falun Gong practitioners don't accept anything that is not theirs.”

My son sincerely recited, “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” In his heart he repeatedly begged Master Li for help. With blessings from gods, I was soon released .

Master has taught Falun Gong to the public for over twenty years. Now, Falun Gong has spread to more than 100 countries. It does not cause any harm. It only brings benefits to people of all ethnicities. I hope my Chinese compatriots come to understand the truth, find their true selves, and secure an auspicious future. People often say that by listening to all sides of a story, one will learn the truth; while heeding only one side will leave one ignorant.
