Additional Persecution News from China – May 26, 2012 (21 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, 5 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 27 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Jiangping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qi Xiuying, Ms. Huan Jingxia, and Ms. Yu Shuqin Detained

Ms. Qi Xiuying, Ms. Huan Jingxia, and Ms. Yu Shuqin were arrested while distributing Shen Yun discs on May 25, 2012. They are now being held in the Jiangping Detention Center.

2. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Supplemental Information on Mr. Liu Lijie's Arrest

Mr. Liu Lijie was arrested in his garage, and his house was ransacked on April 15, 2012. A computer, a notebook, a printer, Falun Gong books, and his car were confiscated. He was being held in the Nangou Detention Center, and was subsequently sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp on May 24 for one and a half years of forced labor.

3. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Huizhen Arrested at Home on April 28, 2012

4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information on the Persecution of Mr. Zhang Weiqing and Mr. He Hongyu

Mr. Zhang Weiqing was arrested by officers from the Xinyang Road Police Station on April 17, 2012, and sent to the Harbin Qianjin Forced Labor Camp by personnel from the Domestic Security Division of the Daoli Police Department. Mr. He Hongyu, also arrested, has since returned home.

5. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Fang Ming Arrested

Mr. Fang Ming was arrested on the afternoon of May 23, 2012 by five police officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Baishan City Police Department and the Xinjian Police Department, who had been following him.

6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Chen Arrested

Mr. Chen, around 60, was arrested while talking to people about Falun Gong at Kaixuan Plaza on May 24, 2012, by officers from the Zhanbei Police Station. His house was ransacked.

7. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Lianzhen Arrested

Ms. Li Lianzhen was arrested at home on the morning of May 24, 2012 and her house was ransacked. She is being held at the Meilisi Police Department.

8. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hu Guiqing Arrested

Officers from the Qingyuan Domestic Security Division, the Donglu township government, and the police station, broke into Ms. Hu Guiqing's home in Weige Village on the afternoon of May 23, 2012. They confiscated Falun Gong books, discs, etc., and arrested her. It is suspected that she is being held at the Baoding Detention Center.

9. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jing Ying Arrested

Ms. Jing Ying was arrested on her way home from posting truth-clarification stickers on the morning of May 23, 2012. She is being held in the Baoding Detention Center.

10. [Hailar City, Inner Mongolia] Persecution of Mr. Jin Huaixing

Mr. Jin Huaixing was sentenced to a five-year term in the Bao'anzhao Prison in June 2010. He has recently been mistreated to the point of having an unclear mind and needing support on each side while walking.

11. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xin Liying, Mr. Yu, and Ms. Zhou Liling Detained

Officers from the Dongcheng Police Station broke into the house of Ms. Xin Liying in Datuanliu Village at noon on May 22, 2012. They took away Falun Gong books and detained Ms. Xin in the Zhuozhou City Detention Center.

Officers from the Zhuozhou Domestic Security Division broke into the house of Mr. Yu and arrested him and Ms. Zhou Liling, who was visiting. They are being held in the Zhuozhou City Detention Center. Ms. Zhou's house was ransacked and Falun Gong books and other materials were confiscated.

12. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhu Yuanzhu Arrested

Ms. Zhu Yuanzhu was arrested at home by officers from the Sijin Town Police Station on the morning of May 25, 2012. Her house was ransacked.

13. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Li Mei Developed a Lump with Edema in Her Stomach Due to Mistreatment in Prison

Ms. Li Mei, who is being held in the Suzhou Women's Prison, has been mistreated to the point of becoming seriously weak. She can hardly eat or defecate, and has developed a lump and edema in her stomach. She has been denied treatment because she refuses to give up her belief in Falun Dafa.

14. [Xinjiang] Ms. Xiao Naifang, Ms. Zhang Guiying Arrested

Ms. Xiao Naifang and Ms. Zhang Guiying were arrested by local police on the afternoon of May 22, 2012. They had previously been sentenced to three years of forced labor.

15. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhu Qiu Arrested

Ms. Zhu Qiu was arrested while talking to people about Falun Gong by officers from the Guang'an Street Police Station on the afternoon of May 24, 2012.

16. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Mr. Wang Guangrong and Other Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Guangrong, 70, was arrested by Xu Qiuping, chief of the Wugang City 610 Office, and Yang Taodai a police officer. His house was ransacked on May 8, 2012, and a computer, a printer, and other items were confiscated. He is being held at the Wugang Detention Center.

On the same day Ms. Zhao Yunping, 58, Ms. Wei Xiuling, and Ms. Liu Qiushia were arrested. Ms. Zhao is being held in the Ye County Detention Center. Ms. Wei and Ms. Liu were released after their houses were ransacked. Ms. Liu Qiushia was arrested again on May 18.

17. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Wenqin Arrested

Ms. Chen Wenqin was arrested by officers from the Wangdu County Domestic Security Division and the Wangdu Town Police Station on May 23, 2012. A set of Falun Gong books and 100 discs were confiscated.

Ms. Yu Lanying was arrested by the director of the Hengshui Township Police Station, while she was posting truth-clarifying materials. She is being held in a detention center.

19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Supplemental Information on the Persecution of Mr. Li Suguo

Mr. Li Suguo, a teacher at Kongbu Middle School, was arrested at home by several police officers on May 16, 2012. He was taken to the Wangji Police Station, then transferred to the Xinzhou District Detention Center later in the evening. Five days later he was again transferred to the Liuji Brainwashing Center in the Xinzhou District. His house was ransacked.

20. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Supplemental Information on the Arrest of Ms. Li Yuxian and Other Practitioners

Ms. Mo Qun, Ms. Li Yuxian, and Ms. Ning were arrested by officers from the Wanlipo Police Station while they were sending righteous thoughts near the Neijiang City Brainwashing Center on May 18, 2012. They were held in the Sanyuanjing Detention Center for 12 days.

21. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. He Chengyu and Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. He Chengyu, Ms. Hu Xingbi, Ms. Bi Dehui, and Ms. Zhou Hong were arrested by police officers from the Da County 610 Office and the the Domestic Security Division on May 7, 2012. They were taken to the Dazhou City Fuxing Detention Center.
