Solemn Declaration
I was illegally arrested and taken to the county police department on May 3, 2012 when speaking with people about Falun Gong at the market. The police pressured me to write a guarantee statement. I refused and continued to clarify the truth to them. They then called in my daughter and pressured her to write the guarantee statement for me to sign. I pressed my fingerprints on it because of my attachment of fear. The police also extorted 2,000 yuan from my son to get me released. I am not worthy of salvation by Master and Dafa. Over the years, Master has eliminated my illnesses and kept me healthy. My whole family has also benefited. But I compromised with the evil and caused damage to Dafa. I solemnly declare: “Every statement I have written and signed to the evil is null and void. I will work harder to make up for the damage I caused Dafa, do the three things well, and closely follow Master to cultivate diligently to the end.”

Solemn Declaration
I was illegally arrested and taken to a detention center for persecution during my first appeal in Beijing. I compromised with the evil and wrote a “guarantee statement” because of my lack of understanding of the Fa principles. When I appealed in Beijing for the second time, I was arrested again, and was sentenced to a forced labor camp for three years. During my detention in the camp, I was brutally tortured twice with electric shocks and being hung up with a rope, and I yielded to the evil. I wrote the three statements again and was led astray. I also turned in Dafa books to the camp and revealed the name of a fellow practitioner. After my release, I signed the “five statements” at our local 610 Office and slandered Dafa. With the help of fellow practitioners, I later learned that I had committed a big sin and that I not only damaged Dafa, but also betrayed Falun Gong. Our merciful Master did not give up on me and provided me with an opportunity to resume cultivation. I now realize the seriousness of cultivation. I will completely reject any arrangement made by the old evil forces and truly walk on the cultivation path arranged by Master. I solemnly declare: “All that I have done that is not in accordance with Dafa principles are null and void. I will do the three things well to make up for the damage I caused Dafa and will walk the last leg of my cultivation journey well.”
