(Minghui.org) On June 23, Falun Gong practitioners from San Francisco participated in the Alameda County Fair parade in Pleasanton.

The parade was part of the 100th Anniversary of the Alameda County Fair Celebration. Seventy-four groups performed in the parade. The whole celebration goes from June 20 to July 8.
This was the second time that Falun Gong practitioners participated in this event. Their performances were warmly welcomed by the spectators. One of the organizers highly praised the Divine Land Marching Band. When the band passed by the stage, the host introduced them to the public as a group of people who cultivate both mind and body and practice five sets of peaceful exercises.
Many local citizens enjoyed the band because of the music, the colorful costumes and the principles that the members of the band follow, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
