(Minghui.org) Ms. Xuqilan's husband died at work from an accident in a coal mine when their youngest daughter was only five. Since then, Ms. Xuqilan and her three daughters lived and supported each other. After hearing that their mom was arrested for practicing Falun Gong, the two elder daughters hurried back to their hometown. At the police station, they requested to see their mom, but the police were violent towards them. The eldest daughter's boyfriend tried to protect her and was beaten, arrested and detained for ten days. Their aunt who was 60 years old, was even pushed by the police to the ground twice.
Spiritual Elevation After Obtaining Dafa
Ms. Xu Qilan from Jianshan District of Shuangyashan used to have a lovely family. She and her husband both have three daughters. Her husband worked at a coal mine. Thanks to their hard work, life was improving every day.
Sadly, Ms. Xu's husband suddenly died at work. She was 32 years old at that time. Her eldest and youngest daughters were ten and five respectively. She had to work really hard for her family. The overloaded stress of living almost caused her to suffer a mental collapse.
Fortunately, Ms. Xu started to practice Falun Gong in April 1999. The principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance shed some light on her fate and she has become stronger. During the past 15 years, she has devoted herself to raising her children. Two of the daughters have gone to college and the weight on her shoulders lifted somewhat.
Because Ms. Xu has benefited so much from Falun Gong, she upholds her faith even under persecution by the Chinese communist regime. The residential committee, police station and police department have harassed, detained and persecuted her several times.
Ms. Xu's Families Arrested and Beaten at Lixin Police Station
Ms. Xu was arrested by Lixin Police Station around noon on May 10, 2012, while she was giving Shen Yun DVDs to people. Her home was ransacked, and she was detained at Shuangyashan City Detention Center.
Soon Ms. Xu's daughters heard about their mom's arrest. They immediately left their work and school and traveled thousands of miles back to Shuangyashan.
The eldest and youngest daughters went to Lixin Police Station on the morning of May 14. They wanted to see their mom, but the police claimed that they were causing trouble and officer Dai Zhiyuan put the eldest daughter in a headlock causing her suffocation.
The eldest daughter's boyfriend stepped forward and tried to stop the police, but they beat him. His face and wrists were injured and the police locked him up with Ms. Xu's eldest daughter into an iron cage. Later, he was detained at the detention center for ten days.
The daughters were also accompanied by their aunt who is 60 years old. The police pushed her down and she fell on the ground twice.
