(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 2007. Although I haven't practiced long, I have experienced many miracles.
1. Learning about Dafa
I worked at a police station. After July 1999, when the Chinese Communist regime launched the persecution against Dafa, one of our major work efforts was to monitor Dafa practitioners. In 2004, in my area, there were several instances of Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials being distributed by practitioners. I was the one in charge of these cases, and I sent several Dafa practitioners to the detention center and the forced labor camp.
All the practitioners that I interacted with were very kind and sincere, and I liked them. At that time, I really wanted to help them, however I couldn't understand why they were so steadfast in their belief in Dafa, which made me think a lot. I saw that there were so many people practicing Dafa, including many well-educated people and people of high social status. I thought that contrary to the Chinese Communist Party's propaganda, this could not be simply explained as superstitious or ignorance.
I concluded that there were only three possibilities: Firstly, Dafa practitioners were all totally brainwashed; secondly, they might have gotten some illusions after practicing Dafa, or practicing made their thoughts more easily distorted; or thirdly, what Falun Dafa practitioners say is completely true – that Falun Dafa is indeed a higher science. In order to verify which of these possibilities was true, I tried to get to know Dafa practitioners in as much depth as possible. I talked to all the practitioners I could reach. They told me about many miracles and experiences, including Dafa's significant effects on health and fitness and even some supernormal abilities. They told me of their personal experiences and of the things that they had enlightened to, and they were were all different. I tried to observe practitioners closely, and I found them all very clear minded.
I brought back some Dafa books which had been confiscated from practitioners, and I also searched for and downloaded Master Li's articles online. I read them very carefully and repeatedly for two years. In those two years, the state of my mind improved, level by level. Mr. Li Hongzhi told us about the construction of the human body, the origin of a life and its form of existence, the construction of the universe and its purpose, the form of other dimensions, etc. He told us about these things from a scientific angle and enlightened us to understand the real meaning of life and how can we go back to our original, true selves.
All the truth and facts totally convinced me. I gradually changed my opinions until I clearly understood that Falun Dafa was indeed a higher-level science than the current science, which only studies a subject until after it is proven to exist. The Falun Dafa practice also includes a kind of meditation, which has never before been taught in public. I fully understood the real reasons why people have come to the human world.
I developed a strong determination to learn Dafa. Then I found some practitioners whom I previously persecuted. I have subsequently been so fortunate to step onto the path of Dafa cultivation.
2. Miracles Happened
I have been a police officer for many years and have cultivated many bad habits. For example, I had a bad temper, I lied to people, and I had no sympathy for people. I had no sense of justice and was very greedy and selfish. Like many other police officers, I liked to socialize with business people and other kinds of people. After practicing Falun Gong, I strictly disciplined myself to be a good person according to the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. In a very short time, I eliminated all of those bad habits.
I had neurasthenia and rheumatism, and I had tried many treatments but none worked. After practicing Dafa, in a very short time all these illness disappeared. I became full of energy and didn't feel sleepy even though I slept only three or four hours per day.
After a while, my third eye opened, and I even developed the ability of knowing fates. Many times, I saw the Cultivated Infant, which was shining and sitting still with his hands folded in the Jieyin position, legs crossed, on a lotus flower. Each time I improved in level, I saw the Cultivated Infant move into another space.
Not long after my third eye opened, one of my colleagues joined the Chinese Communist Party. I clearly saw that at the swearing-in, the moment he lifted up his arm, a red dragon-like creature in another dimension immediately attached to his arm. (At the beginning it looked like the hammer and sickle on the communist party's flag, but later it turned into a figure of a red dragon.) I later talked to the colleague and tried to persuade him to quit the party for his safety. However, he didn't believe me and refused to quit.
I have also been persecuted because I practice Dafa. I have been sent to a brainwashing center twice and have been threatened by 610 Office personnel that I would be sentenced to prison, sent to a forced labor camp, or fired. They also used my family, friends, and supervisor to try to persuade me to give up my belief. When all these methods failed, they hired thugs who beat me. They didn't allow me to sleep for several days continuously, and they tried to torture me mentally and physically. In the end,I was transferred out of the police department.
Under Master's protection, I have gotten through all these difficulties. In order to clarify the truth and expose the persecution, I wrote a report and gave it to my work unit, the Police Department, the county government, the Political and Judiciary Committee, the 610 Office, etc. I wrote about how I suffered unfair treatment and persecution, how I stepped onto the the path of cultivation practice, how I changed physically and mentally after practicing Falun Dafa, and some of the miracles that happened to me. I also described how persecuting Falun Dafa is totally against the law. The report was acknowledged by many of my peers and supervisors.
3. Clarifying the Truth and Saving Sentient Beings
Six months after I started practicing Falun Gong, I joined the activities of saving sentient beings. First I distributed truth-clarifying materials, and later began clarifying the truth face to face. I also wrote articles to help many more people learn the truth.
Perhaps because I used to work for the government and the Political and Judiciary Committee, and have a deeper predestined relationship with people working there, when I see any police officers or government officers, I always try, using all means, to tell them the truth about Falun Dafa.
I was once clarifying the truth to a retired policeman, who used to be in charge of persecuting Falun Dafa. He completely believed the lies of the Chinese Communist Party. He asked me several questions, and I spoke to him in great detail. I later gave him some truth-clarifying materials. Some time after that he borrowed Dafa books from me. After a while, he sent me a long list of names of people who wanted to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. He said, “After reading the books and materials, I now totally understand the truth. We have been poisoned by the evil party so deeply that we could not distinguish good from evil. Your Master is great and I deeply admire him.”
Because of my frequent and open activities, I was often warned and monitored by my work unit, the 610 Office, and the National Security Team. But I was not deterred at all. I believe that people will eventually understand what we practitioners are doing.
