Located in Southwest Germany, Saarbrücken, the capital City of Saarland, enjoys a long history. With its location next to France and a history of French rule, Saarbrücken has been influenced by French culture.

It was a sunny Saturday morning, and Saarbrücken’s busy downtown was bustling with pedestrians. Falun Gong practitioners set up an information table with display boards on a busy pedestrian street. They distributed leaflets to passersby and collected signatures supporting a stop to the CCP’s crimes of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, which caught the attention of passersby. Many people paused to observe.

One participant in the information day activity said that when she distributed the leaflets, many people said that they had heard of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, and they immediately wanted to sign the petition to support Falun Gong.

A young German man took a leaflet and was shocked upon learning of the CCP atrocities of harvesting the organs of Falun Gong practitioners. He asked the practitioner twice, "Is it true? Is it true?” He said that it was terrible.

One woman, after listening to the practitioner’s discussion of the persecution, she said that as a teacher, she had just talked to her students about human rights in China a few days ago. She knew that China's human rights record was very poor, and she signed her name in the petition book. She also took many leaflets for her students to read.

A practitioner started to talk with an older man who passed by the information table. This gentleman was a designer before his retirement, and had started to learn Buddhism in the 1970s. After learning about the situation in China, he signed the petition book. He later watched the exercise demonstration quietly, and carefully read the exercise descriptions on the display board.
