(Minghui.org) Aunty Tian has been practicing Falun Gong for 17 years. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) illegally imprisoned her for several years, but she has never changed her belief and continues to clarify the truth to people. Many who have learned the facts from her began cultivating. Aunty Tian tells the following stories as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction.
1. Rectal Cancer Gone, 17 Years of Good Health
Aunty Tian lives in a city in northern China. Although she is 62 years old, she looks to be in her early 40s. She has shiny black hair and a rosy complexion. No one can imagine that she suffered from rectal cancer 17 years ago.
In 1988, Aunty Tian had colon and rectal ulcers. She suffered from bloody diarrhea that contained pus. The most challenging thing for her was the frequent need to use the bathroom whenever she had stomach pain.
She lost weight because of diarrhea, and weighed only 90 pounds in September 1994. The rectal ulcers developed into rectal cancer. Her doctor suggested a resection of the rectum. She saw post-surgery patients carrying a bag around their stomach to collect the waste. She could not accept that and firmly resisted the idea of surgery. She became weaker and weaker and could not climb up to the second floor. Her husband had to carry her. She said that she was waiting for death.
One morning in the autumn of 1995, she was strolling along a river. She noticed an attractive level field. It was the Falun Gong exercise site. The students felt a predestined tie and suggested that she read the Falun Gong books.
She bought a copy of Zhuan Falunand had a desire to cultivate after reading it. She learned that a cultivator's body would be purified and got very excited. During the second month of her practice, she one day had diarrhea all day long, more than 20 times. During her last trip to the toilet, she passed a long, bloody, slimy stool. It was a cleansing process. Soon, her rectal cancer, anemia, nephritis, and other diseases disappeared.
When she was reading Zhuan Falun, Aunty Tian threw away all her medicine. It has been 17 years since, and she has not needed any medicine. She is in good health and walks with a light stop. Although she has a washer at home, she hand washes the clothes.
The story of Aunty Tian recovering from rectal cancer after practicing Falun Dafa became part of the official records of the local Falun Dafa Association. It was recounted in a meeting by the members of the local Sports Commission and other government departments in 1998. Aunty Tian said that there were many practitioners, including high ranking officials from the provincial government, post-docs, and army commanders, as well as everyday people like her, at the meeting. They talked about recovering from paralysis, liver disease in the final stage, and also about improving their moral standards. After the meeting, the local Falun Dafa Association registered with the local government. All of the cases were audio recorded and videotaped and were widely spread in the local area. When the CCP launched the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in July 20, 1999, the local police officers inspected the legal registration documents and saw the unreasonableness of the persecution.
Aunty Tian hopes that more people may benefit from Falun Gong. She rides her bike daily to reach out to people face to face and tell them the facts about Falun Gong. Each day, more people understand the virtue of Falun Dafa and the evil of the CCP due to Aunty Tian. They have chosen to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliations. Aunty Tian is happy for them.
2. An Internet Police Officer and Long Term Minghui Reader Knows Everything
During the 2011 Chinese New Year holiday, the fiancee of Aunty Tian's nephew visited her from another city. Aunty Tian told her the facts about Falun Gong and encouraged her to quit the CCP and its affiliated groups.
Her nephew's fiancee said that she worked in the police department. She was in charge of monitoring the Minghui website and her work was to read and report about the information posted on Minghui, such as when a new lecture was published, when and where there was news, what was in the practitioners' experience sharing, and so on. In other words, they carefully read everything on the Minghui website. Several officers took turn monitoring the website, 24 hours a day. It was amazing.
She told Aunty Tian that since she had been reading Minghui for a long time, she felt everything done by Falun Gong was good. But she did not dare to quit the CCP because she was afraid of losing her job. Aunty Tian said that she did not need to tell the CCP. If she wanted to quit, let her know. It would work. She understood and had Aunty Tian do it for her using a pseudonym.
Aunty Tian told her to remember to recite “Falun Dafa is good” when encountering trouble. She said that she and her colleagues recited “Falun Dafa is good” whenever they were not happy or had trouble.
The fiance later told Aunty Tian, “Cultivate yourself well. We will benefit from your cultivation.” She went home and told her family that Aunty Tian was at a high level and her words had power. She wanted Aunty Tian to visit her family and persuade her father, a director in the police department, to quit the CCP.
The CCP has invested a lot of manpower and resources monitoring Falun Gong activities on the Internet. The Internet police have learned the facts about Falun Gong in their “work” and have a better understanding than most people. The righteous information on Minghui has cleared up the fallacies of atheism in their minds.
For over 10 years, Falun Gong practitioners have been following the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and rationally and peacefully resisted the persecution. Those that work in the police, Procuratorate, and court systems have learned about Falun Gong from the righteous behavior of practitioners from their direct interaction with them. More and more of them are praising Falun Gong in their hearts while they still work for the CCP. Only the surface element of the CCP is left. We believe heaven will destroy it because people are awakening.
3. Mr. Tian's Adventure Unloading a Truck
Aunty Tian's husband, Mr. Tian, is a truck driver. In 2005, he was unloading his truck in a metal market. The truck was 16 feet tall and 46 feet long. He fell from the top of the truck and landed flat on his back! A similar thing happened in the market two weeks prior. The victim was a young man in his 30s. His spine was broken in three pieces. His lower limbs were paralyzed and he was still in bed. Mr. Tian was 55 years old. The crowd at the scene was shocked. His supervisor was very nervous and told him not to move. He immediately called the insurance company for an ambulance.
Mr. Tian said, “I am fine.” He sat up slowly and rode his bike home. His supervisor allowed him to take a sick day, but he came on his bike to work the next day. He was all right.
Why was he so lucky? Mr. Tian witnessed his wife's recovery from rectal cancer. She benefited both in mind and body due to cultivating Falun Dafa. He knew Falun Dafa was good and strongly supported her cultivation practice. The accident gave him first hand experience of the power of Dafa and deepened his faith in it. While he was lying on the ground, he remembered the words in Zhuan Falun that his wife had repeatedly recited it to him, “Good or evil comes from that instant thought.” No matter how dangerous it looked, he believed he was all right and he had a Dafa amulet(1) with him. It was given by his wife and he always carried it with him. Tian's experience was similar to others that have been saved by Dafa. It is proof of the mighty power of Falun Dafa. It is indeed that, with one person practicing, the whole family benefits. After the accident, Mr. Tian often distributed Falun Gong fliers and pamphlets to his colleagues. “Falun Dafa is good” is what he utters whenever he has trouble.
4. Grandmother in Her 90s Returns to Life
In 2011, the grandmother of Aunty Tian's son-in-law suffered from stomach bleeding. She often spit blood, and the front of her sweater was soaked with it. She was in a coma and did not open her eyes while she was in the hospital. Because of her situation and considering her age of 95 years, her doctor issued a critical condition notice and gave up on her.
She was taken home. Aunty Tian went to visit her. It was strange that, when Aunty Tian approached her, she opened her eyes. She said, “For many days, my eyes have been too heavy to open to see anyone. You came and my eyes became clear and strong.” Aunty Tian replied, “It is a predestined relationship. Dafa will save you. You recite 'Falun Dafa is good' in your heart. You will benefit.” Aunty Tian then gave her a Dafa amulet. The grandmother held it firmly in her hands and recited, “Falun Dafa is good.”
She soon recovered. She recites “Falun Dafa is good” three times when she gets up in the morning, and repeats it every afternoon and evening. She is able to take care of herself and also help with the house cleaning and chores.
She wears the amulet every day. She loves it and does not take it off even during sleep. One morning, she woke up without the amulet. She got anxious and stated to cry. Luckily, her grandson found it in her bed sheet. She held it, relieved.
Aunty Tian's daughter passes along the Falun Gong weekly pamphlet to her each week. The grandmother wears her glasses and carefully reads each one. She is getting better and better. She made a big pot of steamed buns during the Chinese New Year this year.
Grandmother's recovery from death shocked her granddaughter. She also witnessed Aunty Tian becoming younger and younger each year after practicing Falun Gong. She said, “Her skin is very good. She is in her 60s and I am in my 30s, but her skin is better than mine. If I practice Falun Gong, I will definitely save on cosmetic products.”
Her entire family quit the CCP and its affiliations through Aunty Tian. Her son said to Aunty Tian, “I am going to junior high, and will no longer wear the red scarf. Please help me quit.” Her husband said to Aunty Tian, “The persecution is so severe. It will be a shame if no one practices anymore.” Aunty Tian said, “No, that won't happen. Whenever you want to learn, I will teach you.”
They recently asked Aunty Tian for a set of Falun Dafa exercise demonstration videos and lecture audio tapes. They are learning it at home.
5. A Principal in His 70s Quits the CCP and Is Saved from Disaster
Aunty Tian's elder brother is a former provincial special grade teacher, a retired principal. He is in his 70s and had been a member of the CCP for almost 50 years. Aunty Tian told him the facts about Falun Gong and urged him to quit the CCP. Initially, he just said nothing and smiled. Then he said that he was not against her practice, but he had his own belief.
Aunty Tian did not give up. She kept talking to him for over a month. He finally agreed to quit the CCP, but he and his family did not believe quitting the CCP would save them.
The principal's family uses a coal stove for heating on winter nights. One night, all four members of the family got gas poisoning. His son, daughter-in-law, and his wife were hospitalized, but he was fine.
The family, especially the principal, was shocked. When Aunty Tian visited them during the New Year, the principal said that he especially supported her practicing Falun Dafa. Her son hesitated because of his work in the government, but he said that he would consider quitting the CCP later.
Aunty Tian gave her brother, the principal, a copy of Zhuan Falun. He is reading it.
Note: (1) Amulets and talismans – In China, practitioners sometimes "clarify the truth" by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
