(Minghui.org) The 2012 Taiwan Experience Sharing Conference on Clarifying the Truth Over the Internet was held in Kaohsiung Dongguang Elementary School on June 10, 2012. Coordinators and tech support staff of various Internet truth-clarification projects from all over Taiwan attended the conference. Their common goal was to clarify the true story of Falun Dafa to more people at this critical junction in history.
Falun Dafa practitioners were divided into four groups for Fa study and experience sharing in the morning. A big project team sharing was held in the afternoon.
Mr. Yang from Tainan shared how he was sent for training at a university, where his adviser was very strict. He often had to work until midnight. As a result, sometimes he had to turn down coordination assignments to help with Dafa activities. He felt so bad that he cried on his way back home. He blamed himself for not being able to take on more responsibilities as a Falun Dafa practitioner. He then remembered Master's words, “Don't entertain or get attached to any human thoughts, and just do what a Dafa disciple should do” (“Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference”).
Mr. Yang decided to request a leave of absence from the university. When he told his adviser about his decision, the adviser said that from now on he could have the flexibility to decide his own schedule. Thus, he was able to join Falun Dafa activities and took the initiative to coordinate with a fellow practitioner to solve computer-related problems. Though he was very busy, he was still able to accomplish what he needed at work and school. He met the requirement of his adviser and successfully graduated from the training program.
Mr. Zhu from Pingtung said that every experience sharing gave him an opportunity to look inward to see where he had fallen short, to purify himself, and to get rid of his attachment to saving face. He had gained a deeper understanding of the Fa after every experience sharing. Master said, “In the process of cultivating, we’re practitioners, so we need to give up so many attachments” (Zhuan Falun). Mr. Zhu always found his attachments through experience sharing. He valued every opportunity to share his experience.
Mr. Zhu experienced a serious sickness karma when he was visiting the United States in 2003, which almost made it impossible for him to return to Taiwan. He realized that he hadn't done the three things very well, especially with regard to truth clarification, and that his loophole must have been taken advantage of. He thought to himself with determination: “I came to save sentient beings. I will certainly be able to return to Taiwan. Once I get back, I will seize the time to do truth-clarification work well!” Master said, “When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide” (“The Master-Disciple Bond” from Hong Yin II). Mr. Zhu was able to return to Taiwan, and as he seized the time to clarify the truth, his health problem disappeared. He thanked Master from the bottom of his heart.
Husband and wife practitioners Mr. and Mrs. Chen from Kaohsiung both coordinate projects to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa over the Internet. They shared their experience of patiently teaching elderly practitioners how to use a computer. Their encouragement gave the elderly practitioners confidence to clarify the truth over the Internet. Many practitioners are very busy handling work and truth-clarification activities. Caring for each other and treating practitioners' family members as extended family would help these families better understand what practitioners are doing. Maintaining a good image of Falun Dafa practitioners greatly helped Mr. and Mrs. Chen in coordinating activities.
Mr. Zhang from Kaohsiung shared on the importance of understanding the Fa rationally. Every time he gained a deeper understanding of Fa, he felt stronger energy. He could also utilize the stronger energy on a wider scale when sending forth righteous thoughts. He realized that the quality and quantity of Fa-study were equally important. Mr. Zhang said that every time he felt like he was suffering a lot in a tribulation, he would remind himself how Master has suffered so much for disciples and hoped we would save more sentient beings. Mr. Zhang would then make a quick adjustment to correct his state. He noted that when he wasted time pitying himself, the precious time for saving more sentient beings flew by.
Mr. Zhang also shared his understanding of “true self.” When facing conflicts, he clearly saw that it was only the superficial phenomena of conflicts between “acquired selves” and attachments. Our true selves are pure and solemn. Whenever he realized it, the conflicts would be resolved quickly.
Practitioners in tech support shared their understanding that it wasn't technical issues but human attachments that interfered with their efforts to troubleshoot issues. If they looked inward and seized every opportunity to improve their heart and mind nature, it was easy to find the cause of the technical problems. Sometimes, the computers would even start working well by themselves. Internet blockage was what they saw with the human mindset, but if they persisted in saving sentient beings and having ample righteous thoughts, the blockage could be broken through.
Falun Dafa practitioners were touched by the sharing during the conference. They benefited from each others experiences and felt the power of collective effort.
