(Minghui.org) With the help of fellow practitioners, I finally was able to let go of my attachments to worry and selfishness and eliminate all kinds of interference. Now I'm able to share some of my 14 years of cultivation experiences, including how I validate Dafa, and I can testify to Master's immeasurable mercy and greatness, as well as Dafa's mighty power and virtue.
Learning the Practice
On March 15, 1997, my colleague introduced Falun Dafa to me. At that time I was suffering from many illnesses, including hepatitis B, an irregular and fast heart rate, and inflammation of the tonsils, which all caused excruciating pain. Because I had pursued fame, fortune, and lust and had a hot temper and strong ego, my family had broken up. I felt constant anger and worried at all times. In great despair I came across Dafa. I was convinced by Dafa's broad principles and understood that returning to my original true self was the purpose of my current life on earth. I was determined to follow Master and practice cultivation until consummation.
I studied the Fa diligently, practiced the exercises and promoted Dafa daily, so my body and mind changed rapidly. Without realizing it, I suddenly became healthy, and my hunched back miraculously straightened. Once when I was asleep, I saw Master waving his hands and heat flowed from my head to my soles, leaving me feeling very comfortable. While sitting in meditation, I could feel the wonder of sitting inside an eggshell. Once, when I was practicing, my primary consciousness left my body and went up my gong column. I saw two dragons dancing in the air, which was very mysterious. Following the elevation of my xinxing, my body also underwent very big changes. My colleagues said, "You look like a different person," and fellow practitioners said, "Your complexion looks great now!"
Clarifying the Facts about Falun Gong at Work
I clarified the facts about Falun Gong to my colleagues. Many of them withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations and now have a good attitude towards Falun Dafa. I established a relatively good environment where I worked, which has been great for my truth clarification about Falun Gong.
I have worked several years in this hospital, since before I started practicing Falun Gong, and I'm widely recognized as a good person. As soon as I arrived at my office, I cleaned the offices and public spaces. Whenever I had some free time I hand copied Zhuan Falun and studied the Fa. In my drawer I kept truth clarification materials, such as the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
I smiled and greeted every patient when they came into my office. Then, I asked about their health and sympathized with them. I put myself in their places and tried to consider their feelings first. Sometimes, I offered food that was prepared in the hospital kitchen. For older people with financial problems I paid their taxi fare. I lived by the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
After I began to practice Falun Gong, I was in great shape and I felt younger. People began to understand Dafa's miraculous powers through my experiences. This also provided me with a good opportunity to talk about Falun Gong. Many patients will have a good future as I gave them a very good impression of Dafa. I was near retirement age, and people were very surprised to learn this. They said, "Your face is not wrinkled. I thought you had just turned 30!" I would then seize the opportunity to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. I said, "I have been practicing for 14 years, and I'm healthy. I can climb two mountaintops at Mount Tai in one night without feeling tired. All this is because of Dafa's supernatural power." This helps people get a good impression about Falun Dafa.
Patients worry about their health, so I ask patiently and in detail about their condition, and then I suggest ways to deal with their problems. People often are deeply touched and ask me, "Why are you so patient with us?" I respond, "This is because I practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and our Master told us to think of others first when we do or say anything." When there is enough time, I play truth-clarifying videos, such as "False Fire" and "Stone with Hidden Characters" on my MP5 player. Then I give them flyers, CDs, and other Falun Gong materials. I also tell them to recite "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" when danger threatens.
I hung a picture of the "Stone with Hidden Characters" on my office wall and covered it with a piece of paper. I remove the paper once they have listened to the facts about Falun Gong and reveal the picture. My truth clarification efforts are most of the time successful as people are willing to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates.
I rarely run out of time before I can tell the patient the facts about Falun Gong, because I always remember that we all are Master's family members, and some of them may have been my family members. I treasure every person. Life is precious, and I try not to miss anyone with a predestined relationship.
Miraculous Experiences
Once a mother and child came to the hospital. The son was about 16 years old and not my patient. I seized the opportunity to tell him about Falun Gong. Before I could persuade him to do the three withdrawals, he rushed off to get his medications. I felt some regret, thinking, "Please come back. I have not explained to you the truth about Falun Gong thoroughly yet!" He came back and said, "I forgot my receipt." I instantly felt that this was Master's great mercy and his arrangement. I took him to the office for his receipt. Then we went to my office, where he withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I gave him truth clarification flyers. Thank you, Master!
Once, an elderly man came to my office. He said that he attended the vehicles at a supermarket and frequently distributed flyers with truth clarification information, which he thought were very well written. As a result, it was very easy to clarify the truth to him. He did the three withdrawals. As he left he repeatedly said, "Thanks!" I told him, "You should thank our Master. Since you have helped disseminate the truth, you will certainly have a glorious and bright future." From this I realized that Dafa practitioners are one body and what we do is of great importance.
One day an elderly peasant woman came to my office. She seemed to have little education, but then I found out that she once taught high school classes and possessed profound knowledge. She advocated traditional culture and morals. I gave her the Nine Commentaries and told her the facts. She was very excited and did the three withdrawals immediately. I understood that I should not to judge people solely on appearance nor discriminate when clarifying the truth.
A youth that lived near the hospital had a miserable life. He had lost his parents when he was a child, as well as his left arm, and was raised by his grandfather. He was homeless and survived by doing odd jobs and getting handouts. I told him the facts about Falun Gong and asked him to remember, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." Soon after he was interviewed and reported on by a newspaper. A philanthropic institution paid for a surgery. He now owns a retail shop in the city and makes several thousand yuan each month.
Clarifying the Truth Is Becoming Easier
It is getting much easier to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. This is also due to the celestial phenomena, which are changing the environment for the better. Sometimes when I ask patients if they belong to the CCP and its affiliates, I tell them that more than one hundred million people have already done the three withdrawals. I tell them that the CCP has committed much evil, and that it is now so corrupt that the gods will eliminate it. I tell them that doing the withdrawals will keep them safe when the CCP is eliminated. When I tell them that they should do the three withdrawals, many people say "I'm so and so and you are really nice!” Now even people that are religious believers acknowledge that Dafa is great.
When I began my truth clarification efforts, I encountered many difficulties, and many of my human mentalities were exposed. Once I spoke for over ten minutes to a Christian. I spoke fast and loud and didn't pay attention to the person's expression and so was not able to get through to him. Although I felt what I was saying to be of importance and I was tired from speaking, the patient looked rather unhappy. He said angrily, "I don't believe what you say and I don't want to do the withdrawals!" Then he told my colleague that I was giving him a political lesson. My colleague told him, "She wanted to help you, because she is a good person. If you do not believe it, just leave it, but please do not speak irresponsibly."
Sometimes when I spoke with a patient about Falun Gong, he would say, "I'm not getting my medicine here anymore!" Our benefits and bonuses are linked to patient volume. Thus, upon hearing this, my colleagues thought poorly of me. Because of this, I was upset and could not eat or sleep well. I then studied the Fa more diligently, looked inward, and uncovered many human attachments. I send forth righteous thoughts more often to eliminate the evil minions and rotten ghosts in other dimensions, as well as the communist evil spirit. That day, I unexpectedly found a book about the evil Party's charter under my table. I burnt it immediately. Then it was smooth sailing with my efforts to clarify the truth.
Making Truth-clarification Materials
In late 2006, local practitioners were arrested and truth clarification material sites were destroyed. Practitioners from neighboring areas asked me to make materials. At that time, I was mentally unprepared, thinking that it was a very difficult task. Also, I held fear in my heart. I replied, "I don't know anything about making materials, I feel I'm not up to the task." Practitioners encouraged me, telling me not to worry about the technical issues.
At that time we lacked a truth clarification production site, and there was a population of over one million in our area. There were only a few practitioners. Thinking that there were so many living beings being poisoned by the slander and waiting to be saved, I agreed to take on the task, but I was still quite unsure in my heart. Fellow practitioners from other remote areas provided the funds and patiently taught me the skills needed to run a production site. I slowly learned how to surf the web, download and print, hoping to be able to gradually make the materials independently. I always reminded myself of the responsibility I was shouldering. With Master's protection and fellow practitioners' help, I gradually matured.
During the times when the web blockage was most serious, some fellow practitioners could not access the web for over ten days, and my network access account had just expired. A fellow practitioner brought me his network access card and my bandwidth suddenly increased. Within several minutes I downloaded files that would normally take more than 10 days to download. I realized that, so long as we are thinking about saving sentient beings, Master will help us. Master only looks at our pure hearts.
We also established a group Fa study site, and as one body we saved sentient beings. Fellow practitioners also began to set up home-based material sites, and our materials improved in quality. We burnt CDs, printed labels, collected telephone numbers, and printed truth-clarifying bills, and each of us strove to be independent from practitioners outside our area.
I realized a material site's safe operation depends upon our studying the Fa diligently, cultivating our minds, and elevating our xinxing. For a period of time I slacked off, thinking that there were too few fellow practitioners to distribute truth clarification materials. I didn't look inward, became resentful, and felt weary, so I became somewhat disheartened. The old forces took advantage of my loopholes. I encountered several dangerous conditions. I nearly had a traffic accident, and afterward I appeared to get sick. It was our merciful Master that resolved my tribulations time and time again. He rescued this disciple by awakening me again. I remembered that Master said, "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be.” I paid even more attention to studying the Fa with a peaceful mind and looking inward when encountering difficulties.
During my over 10 years of cultivation practice, I have experienced many ups and downs. No matter what, I became Master's disciple and exist during the Fa-rectification. This is my greatest honor, and I'm proud to exist during the Fa-rectification period.
I understand from the beginning to the end that it is because of Master's suffering and efforts, encouragement and protection, as well as fellow practitioners' assistance, that I can walk my path uprightly. I think that I am still very far from Master's requirements and have big gaps when compared to diligent fellow practitioners. I treasure today's opportunity, will strive forward without any reservation, and become a qualified disciple of Master.
