(Minghui.org) I am 22 years old and live in a village in China. I began practicing Falun Dafa because I wanted to find a cure for my illness. Falun Dafa has given me my life back.

In March 2011, I was working at a hotel in Langfang, Hebei Province. One day, I felt very weak and had no strength. I also had a fever for many days. Medicine didn't help, so I went to the hospital for a thorough check-up. The doctor told me that I had severe anemia and needed to be hospitalized before it was too late. I was scared and was admitted to the hospital. When I felt a little better, I asked to be discharged because I couldn't afford the medical expenses. By then I had already spent 5,000 yuan.

One-and-a-half months later, the severe anemia recurred again. I was hospitalized and more tests were done on my bone marrow. I was diagnosed with aplastic anemia, meaning that my bone marrow had stopped making blood cells. I was given two choices—get a bone marrow transplant, which I couldn't afford, or a blood transfusion with hormonal medicine. I decided on the latter option. However, the medicine only broke the fever, but didn't stop it from recurring.

My mother practices Falun Dafa. She asked me to go home with her. At home, she gave me the book Zhuan Falun and told me, “Read the book and as long as you can sincerely practice, Teacher will help you.” My mother also taught me the exercises. She told me to do the exercises and study every day. My illness was bothering me a lot and I couldn't calm down, so I only read a few pages of Zhuan Falun each day.

My father, who is not a practitioner, didn't believe that I could get better through the practice and found a Chinese medical doctor to prescribe Chinese herbs for me. However, my condition didn't improve. I went to the hospital every month to get blood transfusions. Several months later, I had spent all of our savings. At that time, Teacher tried to give me hints and remind me to not do what I had been doing many times. For example, twice, I dropped the bowl with the Chinese medicine in it. The broken pieces scattered to form the character “no.” At another time, I was unable to get a blood transfusion because the national blood bank was short on blood. The hospital couldn't help me unless someone was willing to donate blood. Eventually my father donated his blood.

After some time, the doctor finally told me that there was nothing he could do for me and that I needed to go to a better hospital. My father borrowed money from a relative and went to Beijing with me. My bone marrow test results this time were different from my previous test results. The doctor in Beijing suggested that I get further tests. Every time I did a test, I had to go through a lot of painful procedures to have my blood and bone marrow drawn.

The second time I went home after going to Beijing, my mother took me to a local Fa-study group to study the Fa with other practitioners. Through the help of my mother and a senior practitioner, I began to understand many principles in the book—I knew where illnesses and tribulations came from. After that, I became a practitioner.

It was in the winter, and I went to group study every day. My health improved greatly and I was no longer afraid of the cold wind chills. I also no longer had a fever. One time as I was reading the book, I suddenly felt the urge to blink my eyes and several dark substances fell off my eyes. From then on, I could see better and better every day. I vomited for several days. The vomit had dark blood in it. I coughed every night such that I couldn't sleep well. I knew that Teacher was cleansing my body. I was very grateful to Teacher and continued to study the Fa and do the exercises every day.

It's been four months and I have not taken any medicine or had a blood transfusion. I feel great! My father is extremely grateful and excited after witnessing the miraculousness of Falun Dafa. He thanked Teacher for saving my life, and tells everyone he meets about my story and that Falun Dafa is good.

I thank Teacher for his compassionate salvation. I thank my fellow practitioners for their help. I have stepped onto a bright path. I will stay on it and progress diligently.
