(Minghui.org) Ms. Wang Ya is a kind and talented woman from the Yuzhong district of Chongqing. On May 4, 2012, she was taken into custody on her doorstep by officers from Jiangbei District Domestic Security Division. She is currently incarcerated at Jiangbei District Detention Center.

Ms. Wang worked as a secretary to the dean of Chongqing University. Everyone at the university knew that she was quite sickly. Subsequently, she took on the role of community manager for Daxi community in the Yuzhong District.

Ms. Wang suffered from hereditary rheumatism, and she was greatly tormented by this condition before practicing Falun Gong. She and her husband went all over China seeking out doctors who might cure her, but they were met with disappointment again and again. Later, she was fortunate to learn Falun Gong. She strictly followed the requirements of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and very soon all the illnesses that had tormented her disappeared.

After she began practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Wang was able to manage both her work and family life properly. She treated her mother-in-law like her own mother. Her bother-in-law suffered from poor health and was frequently hospitalized, so she brought his children to her house and took care of them. She was considerate of others and put others before herself. She was very kind and tolerant with everyone.

In July 1999, when Jiang's regime started the brazen persecution of Falun Gong, Ms. Wang was sent to a forced labor camp. On January 4, 2002, two months after returning home, the police took her to Lizhikan Detention Center in Chongqing. She was physically assaulted the moment she stepped into the detention center. When she cried out, the perpetrators wrapped her up in a blanket and continued to beat her. A few days later, personnel from the police branch came to interrogate her. She did not cooperate with them, and as a result she was beaten again. Later it was heard that the police instructed the prisoners, "If you see Falun Gong practitioners being brought in, beat them up."

On the morning of February 1, 2007, when Ms. Wang went to visit the Laborer Cultural Center in Chongqing, she was surrounded by dozens of police officers. Soon after, Ms. Wang and a few other practitioners were put into police cars. She was once again sent to a forced labor camp, this time for 19 months. At Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp, the guards instigated prisoners to beat her and used various torture devices on her.

On the morning of June 10, 2011, police conspired with the Daxigou Street Committee in Yuzhong District and the Administration Office. They barged into Ms. Wang's residence and tried to take her to a brainwashing session. She was able to resist, but the police surrounded her home. When it was dark, two policemen were left to monitor her while the rest left.

Now, Ms. Wang has been detained once again and is in danger of being persecuted further. Her family and friends are very worried about her.
