(Minghui.org) I am a high school mathematics teacher. Master has given me infinite wisdom. Most middle school teachers complain that teaching in today's world has become very difficult. However, I have no problems and receive high praise from my superiors. I know that this is because of Master's compassion.
In September 2008 I was assigned to teach a lower level science subject to students who had a poor foundation in science. I was certain that these students had a predestined relationship with me. Before the first class I prepared a lecture that would touch the students, convey my knowledge, and also show my kindness. I showed my concern for them, tried to influence them positively, and allowed them to get to know me. I told them the principle that good is rewarded with good, while doing evil is met with karmic retribution, and I asked the students to cooperate with each other.
At one time, I asked the students to share with each other what was on their minds and how they felt when helping others. I spoke often about the 5,000-year-old Chinese culture, using facts, such as how our ancestors lived. I tried to break through their having been brought up in an atheistic society. I spoke of healing body and mind, the discovery of magnetic and electric fields, how would ants view the human world, and so on. The process was quite slow, but the students began to worry about atheism and how it affected society. They discussed the behavior of people today, how corrupt they were, how low their morality has sunk, and the natural and man-made disasters occurring in China today. Finally I asked them, "Who caused this situation? What can we do?" I analyzed the current situation and incorporated the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) into the discussion.
To better save this group of students, I got involved in picking the class leaders. I said that such a person needs to have a righteous spirit. Therefore, my class was the best disciplined in the entire school, with grade point averages far exceeding the other classes.
Presenting Falun Gong and the Persecution
After some time, I thought that the opportunity was ripe to address the issue of withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its two affiliates, the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers (also referred to as the “three withdrawals”). I also wanted to talk with the class about other Falun Gong truths. After discussing it with fellow practitioners, some of them wanted to address my class, but finally it was decided that it should be left to me and they would send forth righteous thoughts. Therefore I very calmly said to the students, "In this society that is filled with lust and desire for material wealth, a most righteous spiritual practice has been introduced. This practice has spread worldwide and is called Falun Gong." At that time, the students were full of doubt, but none stopped my presentation and they asked many questions. It took me two classes to cover all I wanted to say and at the end the students were reluctant to leave. After going home, I burst into tears, conjoined my hands facing Master, and thanked him.
In Mainland China the CCP requires that all high-school students join the Youth League. Every year at least two to three students in each class are forced to join the CCP, otherwise the class would be deemed "not having completed its political task."
In 2009 and 2010 some of my students had joined the CCP and I asked them why. They said, "I know that this Party is not good, but I thought that perhaps I would gain some advantage in the future." I blamed myself for not having helped them gain a good understanding of why it is important not to join the CCP. Therefore, I asked these students to withdraw from the CCP first and then asked the class leaders to withdraw from the Youth League.
In April 2011 the CCP ordered a group of students to become Party members. I firmly resisted. I went to my school's CCP members to clarify the truth, asking them to withdraw from the Party. Although one deputy principal did not withdraw at that time, two other deputy principals that had listened into the conversation decided to withdraw. I wasn't assigned a quota for the forced Party enrollment.
Withdrawing from the CCP
In 2011 the teacher in charge was asked to remain with his class during college entrance examination time. I pulled several students aside and asked them to do the three withdrawals, which went very well. One student said, "You'd better talk to the entire class and ask everyone to do the three withdrawals. Actually we all know your intention, we all like you, and no one opposes you."
My enlightenment quality was not very good right then, so Master told me through a student's mouth that I had to let go of my fear. Master really was by my side, supporting me at all times. I immediately let go of my fear and felt relieved. I entered the classroom, placed the register in front of the first row of students, and said, "Students, I have told you many times how evil this Party is, how harmful it is. Now, Heaven is going to eliminate the CCP. Do not follow it to its death. You must choose your own good future. Doing the three withdrawals is choosing a good future. If you choose to withdraw, my Master is bringing salvation to all living beings. He is infinitely merciful. He will help you and bring you a good future.
“I'm giving you the class register right now. If you are willing to withdraw, make a mark near your name. If you are not willing, then do not write anything. Please pass the register on toward the back rows after you make your selection.”
After I collected the register, I saw that 92 out of the 93 students had marked their names. At last, I said, "Now let's say together, 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.'" For the first time I found that they said it very nicely and with a serious and sincere expression. This came from the core of their hearts and it represented a wish that they had been longing for. After saying these sentences, the students quietly looked at me, and I was in a thankful mood for Master's graciousness. A student said suddenly, "Teacher, after these two sentences, there should have been one more, 'Three withdrawals protect you.'" Indeed, how come I forgot to add this one sentence?
The last month before the college entrance exam, the students were not like their usual selves. They studied diligently, supported each other, and their attitude touched all the teachers. I didn't need to supervise them. After discussing with fellow practitioners, I played the music "Pu Du" in the classroom during the daily newspaper reading time. The students listened quietly.
After the first exam, I went to the entrance to greet my students. Upon seeing me, the students excitedly ran towards me and said, "Teacher, you are great! We are calmer than we were at any of our previous tests. This time we all performed really well!" I was very happy, and responded, "Please do not say this. The one you should thank is my Master." When we arrived at a restaurant for lunch, the students were very excited. A student leader said to the students, "We should silently recite the three sentences teacher told us before eating the meal." The school leadership and other teachers asked me, "Which three sentences?" Because there were so many people at that time, I just proudly smiled without replying.
The college entrance exams ended. My class, which had been considered a lower level class, surprised everyone. It was a miracle, as two students were admitted to the level two universities, one to a fine arts level two university, 25 were admitted to a level three university, and the others to technical colleges. No one from the other classes was admitted by a level two university. In the best ordinary level class other than mine, only 12 students were admitted by level three universities. In fact, among the three key classes in the entire school, no student from two of the classes was admitted by a level two university, the remaining class had two admitted by level two universities and 30 admitted by level three universities. That is to say, my class had risen to being the best even among the key classes.
Now the whole city is circulating the news about this miracle. I originally had thought that there should have been another student in my class admitted by a level two university; namely, the one who firmly refused to do the three withdrawals. His scores were always good, and in one exam he had the highest score in the whole class. I arranged for him to sit in the same row as the other two good students. But, in the end, he was only admitted to a level three university. The whole class felt sorry for him.
I now frequently communicate with this group of students, asking them to also offer salvation to others. Whenever they have saved a life, they let me know and I frequently receive such information from them.
I recently took over a new class. I understand that they all have a predestined relationship with me.
My cultivation is not as good when compared with many fellow practitioners. I fall far behind and there are many attachments I have not relinquished. Master arranges everything we do. He has already paved the road for us and eliminated all barriers, so long as we do what we are supposed to do.
