(Minghui.org) Ms. Huang Youfeng, 60, a Falun Gong practitioner from Nan'an District, Chongqing City, was reported by someone when she was clarifying the truth and was arrested by the police. Ms. Huang was taken to the patrol officer's office, then to the detention center. Due to high blood pressure, Ms. Huang was released and is now under residential surveillance. The Procuratorate of Nan'an District unlawfully placed her on trial on May 7, 2012.
Ms. Hunag Youfeng was clarifying the truth and distributing some related materials in front of Yonghui Supermarket around 4:00 p.m. on March 17th, before she was reported to the police by a middle-aged woman. Then Ms. Huang was arrested by two patrol officers and taken to the Fourth Group of the Patrol Police. In the inquiry office, the police found out Ms. Huang's name, home address, and other personal information. Actually, the database of this office has collected the private information of many practitioners, including their photos.
On that night, Ms. Huang was taken home. After the police ransacked her home and took some Falun Gong lecture books, among some other materials, Ms. Huang was taken to the Fourth Group again. After she was interrogated, had her photo taken and registered all the confiscated items, Ms. Huang was detained there for a night.
On the next morning, Ms. Huang was taken to the hospital for an examination, and was to be sent to the Detention Center of Nan'an District at 10:00 a.m. However, she was diagnosed with high blood pressure. The doctor informed the police of the results and half an hour later, her blood pressure was measured for a second time, only to get the same result. Therefore, the detention center refused to imprison her and sent her back to the Fourth Group. After finishing the report, the police informed her husband to take her back, with a written decision of “residential surveillance” by the Nan'an District Police Department.
On March 19th, five plainclothes policemen broke into her home to check her computer, with the expectation to find some materials about Falun Gong, and ordered Ms. Huang to sign a piece of blank paper. Her husband questioned their way to deal with the issue, and Ms. Huang didn't sign the paper.
On April 20th, Ms. Huang received a call from the Court of Nan'an District and ordered her to go to the court immediately. Ms. Huang refused because her husband was not in and she had difficulty walking. Then, she was required to go there on April 23rd.
After Ms. Huang got there on April 23rd, she received an indictment from the Procuratorate of Nan'an District and a summons from the Court of Nan'an District, with the information that she would be placed on trial at 2:30 p.m. on May 7th in No. 312 court of the Nan'an District Court.
