Looking at the Wang, Bo, and Zhou Events from Within the Fa

(Minghui.org) We Dafa disciples don't care about politics, let alone participate in it. As Dafa disciples, we don’t seek fame and fortune in the ordinary world, "...a cultivator will not be interested in politics or political power of any sort..." ("Cultivation Practice is Not Political" from Essentials for Further Advancement). So how should Dafa disciples look at these recent big events from within the Fa? These events test the maturity of Dafa disciples and whether we can make full use of every factor to fulfill our mission of saving sentient beings. Jiang's group, that started the persecution, should not have lasted this long, and now is a good time to eliminate the evil with our righteous thoughts.

The recent events involving Wang Lijun and Bo Xilai have triggered a shake-up within the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Cultivators know that these events were prearranged. Master has said,

“This is because at the same time that the evil persecutes Dafa, it has also arranged it so that, during the campaign, the party’s current head himself is used to destroy the party and its regime from within the party—this is what those being manipulated and the world’s people cannot see clearly.” ("Coercion Cannot Change People’s Hearts," from Essentials for Further Advancement II)

From the perspective of the Fa, we know that except for Jiang Zemin, many people within the evil party still need to be rescued. Master taught us,

"In reality, though, the exposing of the Communist evil spirit is not directed at certain people. The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party aim to save all beings whose minds have been poisoned by the evil, which includes members of the malevolent CCP, those in the CCP's most powerful organizations, and the common people. The goal is to help beings in all realms see clearly the factors behind the malevolent CCP." ("We Are Not 'Getting Political'")

During the transition process, it might happen that one group has more positive factors and can be saved. We may have to distinguish which group can play a positive role at this stage.

The incidents with Wang and Bo, resulting in a division within the CCP, is a harbinger of the destruction of Jiang's faction. The fundamental difference between Jiang and other factions lies in the attitude toward Falun Gong. Jiang and his followers have been using their efforts to suppress Falun Gong as the criterion for officials' promotion. This is not a simple, ordinary matter. We see that the evil beings that should be eliminated have gathered together. From an everyday person's perspective, they are scum. These people also include those who made propaganda for the evil, such as Sima Nan, Kong Qingdong, Zhao Benshan, and so on. The suppression of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" by these people amounts to eliminating themselves. Their judgment will eventually come.

We usually send forth righteous thoughts towards Jiang and the evil factors behind him. We should also include his followers as targets while sending forth righteous thoughts, especially Zhou Yongkang and the forces behind him, which is the residual evil that maintains the persecution. We do this not for ourselves, but to save sentient beings. This is to help awaken these beings from the evil lies as soon as possible, so that they can make the right choice for their lives and their futures.

From the perspective of individual cultivation, we don't seek what ordinary people want. We cannot forget that we are Fa-rectification disciples and have the greater responsibility of saving sentient beings. We should make good use of all of these things to save sentient beings, which is the fundamental difference between a Fa-rectification cultivator and other cultivators. From the perspective of the Fa, we know that whatever Dafa disciples do, they should bear in mind the goal of validating the Fa and save sentient beings. We should actively save those people who are in the evil party but have relatively more positive factors. We should support them to have a positive effect in the future.

Some time ago, there was a rumor that Jiang had died. Many fellow practitioners said that we didn't care about everyday people's things, and that we were not tempted by or attached to them. They felt that their cultivation status and xinxing were quite good. However, when the Minghui website published the article to advocate setting off firecrackers, many people started to realize there was something wrong with their previous thoughts. Still, their understanding was still very vague, not realizing the limitation of thinking only from the perspective of individual cultivation. For years, many practitioners never completely passed the individual cultivation stage and found it difficult to balance their individual practice and Fa-rectification. Therefore, they always looked at everything as factors for their own practice, instead of for saving sentient beings. In this case, they were limited by this kind of thinking and did not play their full role.

The current situation is also a way that the old forces arranged to disintegrate the CCP. From the perspective of the Fa, we know that everything in human society exists for Dafa and every change happens according to the requirements of Fa-rectification. Therefore, whether we do well, whether we are pure, whether we are in perfect harmony, and whether we are mature affect everything in this world.

Master taught us,

"As I've said, everything that happens today in the ordinary society is the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.")

Master said,

"For example, if our Dafa disciples didn’t previously have human attachments that caused them to think divisively along Blue-Green political party lines, the situation would be better today." ("Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference")

Hence, as Dafa disciples, we should first completely put aside everyday people's attachments. Only then can we play a role as Dafa disciples. We should put our hearts toward saving sentient beings and do what Dafa disciples should do, without being affected by changes in everyday society. In this way, we can more effectively save sentient beings.

For a long time in China, it has been hard to explain the facts to two groups of people: officials and rich people. Many of them became blinded by greed. Many of them knew that the CCP was very evil, but they betrayed their conscience for the sake of personal gain. They also believed that the CCP was far from collapsing. They are hard to save because they only pursue the benefits at hand, and cannot think clearly about what will happen in the future.

During the events with Wang and Bo, senior officials in Jiang's faction were sacked within a few days. There was an article published on the Epoch Times website, "The Wang & Bo Event Led Beijing Police Officers to Quit the CCP." Many officers came to see the situation more clearly and quit the CCP.

If we make full use of this opportunity, we can save more officials and affluent people, as well as military personnel. Many 610 Office members and National Security officials now have to think about choosing the right path down the road. They are thinking about whether to quit the evil party, and we should help them make the right choice.
