(Minghui.org) On April 22 and 23, 2012, the Arizona State University Falun Dafa Club held a Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibit, which was attended by a large number of faculty members and students. After visiting the exhibit, some international students from China decided to quit the CCP and its affiliated associations.

Ms. Liu (pseudonym) from China was deeply moved by what she saw in the exhibit. She tearfully told the docent that she first learned the Falun Gong exercises from her parents at the age of seven. However, when she was eleven years old, the communist regime began to persecute Falun Gong. Her parents stopped practicing because they were afraid, but her grandmother continued to practice. She had been looking for Falun Gong ever since she came to America, and she was excited to finally find it.

Ms. Lin (pseudonym) is a physics graduate student from China. She carefully studied every single painting and asked several questions. She asked why Falun Gong was the only spiritual practice being persecuted in China. The docent explained to her that, besides Falun Gong, many other religious and qigong groups have also been persecuted by the CCP. Since 1949, millions of Chinese from almost all walks of life have been persecuted by the CCP. The student then asked about the staged Tiananmen Self-immolation incident. The docent replied that first of all, no matter who sets themselves on fire in public, in a normal society, people would tend to sympathize with the victims instead of blaming them. Secondly, under normal circumstances, one would be seriously burned in about ten seconds or even die. However, only a few seconds after those people set themselves on fire on Tiananmen Square, police immediately rushed over with fire extinguishers to put the fire out. No police officers in any country carry fire extinguishers with them while they are on duty, unless they are fire fighters.

Additionally, the closest fire extinguishers to the scene of the alleged self-immolation are located so far away that it would have taken the world's fastest sprinter several minutes to get them to the scene. Another odd detail was that there were professional photographers present that day, shooting close-up video from different angles to show how the people burned themselves, as well as highlighting the police officers putting the fire out with the fire extinguishers. These photographers seemed to have been well prepared ahead of time when they video recorded the incident of the victims and police officers’ using the fire extinguishers.

Thirdly, a young girl was given a tracheotomy after she was severely burned. Soon after, however, she was able to sing on TV. This proves that the whole incident was fabricated to slander Falun Gong. After listening to the docent, Ms. Lin said she now knew that the CCP had set up and directed the entire “self-immolation” incident. She said that she would spend some time learning more about Falun Gong. She wanted to quit the CCP Youth League right away.

At dusk the followng day, just as the exhibit was about to close, two students from China hurried inside the exhibition hall to look at the paintings. They had just learned about the exhibit, and that was why they came so late. They listened as the docent explained the paintings. The title of the first painting in the exhibit is “The Vow,” which portrays an ancient legend about divine beings coming down to the human world. The painting portrays how noble and precious the origin of human life is. Divine beings came to this world to cultivate, and afterward they will return to their homes in heaven. Every painting shows a pleasing and beautiful scene. The two students said that they had learned quite a lot from the paintings that day, and they both agreed to quit the CCP’s affiliated organizations.
