(Minghui.org) I have been practicing Falun Gong for 16 years. During that time, regardless of how the evil forces have slandered Dafa, and despite the fact that the CCP has used all of the country's resources to arrest, detain, and sentence practitioners, I have always determinedly continued to cultivate in Dafa. Why? The reason is simple: Dafa gave me a new life.
Master not only gave me a new life, I have seen and heard miraculous things that are incomprehensible from an ordinary person's perspective. However, miracles are normal in Dafa.
Let me tell about myself. I am 66 years old. When I was a child, everyone in my neighborhood said that I would not live long, so my mother did not want me and intended to throw me away. But my father was against it and I survived. After I married, in addition to the diseases I already had, I developed new illnesses. I was able to work only two weeks out of every month. Each year I was hospitalized several times and I had to take many drugs. Luckily the head of my workplace was sympathetic and thought of ways to cover for me. I felt that I was barely alive and I was obviously in torment. At that time I developed a dozen health problems, such as stomach problems, spondylitis, pyelonephritis, rheumatoid arthritis, hysteria, crow's disease (enteritis cyanosis), and so on. I often fell down unconscious and came to only after quite a long time. After waking up, I had no strength. Because of the rheumatoid arthritis I was in constant pain, and I was afraid to urinate because I had pyelonephritis (a type of urinary tract infection). I was in constant pain. People nicknamed me, "Anabaena Grass" because I had to drink anabaena grass tea every day. I could not eat well and I could not sleep well at night. My life was extremely difficult and unpleasant.
I began practicing Falun Gong in May 1996. Within less than two months, the stubborn diseases I had suffered from for years disappeared. Several of them occasionally relapsed, but improved every time. Master compassionately saved me and removed the illnesses. I have really experienced the joy and pleasure of being disease-free.
Here I would like to share two miraculous events that occurred in my village. A couple with a son live in our village. The old man has a cow, and in the planting season each family rents his cow out to plow their fields. That money is the family's only source of income. The old woman is hunchbacked and bent over 90 degrees. Their son left home and never came back. Their house is made of mud supported by sesame wood poles. One day, they discovered that their cow was gone, and no matter where they searched, they could not find it. By the seventh day they had lost all hope of finding it. Losing the cow meant the loss of their only source of income. The old man suddenly got the idea that my brother had stolen it. He had no money to buy a bus ticket, so he walked over 60 miles to my brother’s home. He asked my brother to tell him where the cow was. My brother had been practicing Falun Dafa and no longer engaged in such behavior, so he told the old man that if he sincerely said, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” he would find the cow. The old man went back home and the old couple sincerely did as my brother suggested. The next day, the cow came back to the house. Everyone in our village knows about this.
There's a family of four in my village. The man unfortunately developed bone marrow disease and completely lost the will to live. Pus flowed out of nearly every joint in his body, and the stench was terrible and difficult to endure. In vain, the family went everywhere seeking treatment. Finally the couple ran out of money, and his wife took the children away, leaving his old mother to take care of him as he waited to die. When he heard the story about the old man's cow returning home, he wanted to try, so he sincerely recited, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” A miracle really occurred. In less than a month, pus no longer flowed from his joints, and they gradually scabbOned over. He has completely recovered and is healthy now and able to do any farm work. His wife and children have returned home and the whole family is happy and lives in peace.
Because of these miracles, the people in my village all support Dafa.
