Thoughts about Qing

(Minghui.org) I have read many experience sharing articles written by Dafa disciples about getting rid of desire and qing. I feel practitioners are very diligent in cultivation yet cultivate in a difficult way. One practitioner who has cultivated for more than ten years said to me: “I have been trying to get rid of human notions. What are left, however, are still the human notions. It is not easy to cultivate.” The cultivation way our Dafa disciples are on is different from any of the previous cultivation ways. We cultivate our main consciousness. When we recognize the human notions based on the Fa and are determined to let go of them, they will surely be eliminated,(though they are alive and are afraid of being removed). The Dafa cultivation way is that the Fa cultivates practitioners. Its mechanisms will automatically remove those bad things. Furthermore, Master is watching over us all the time and will help us to get rid of these notions when he sees our firm determination to let them go. The crucial factor here is whether our determination is firm enough when we have become aware of those notions and decide to remove them. If our determination is as solid as diamond, we can get rid of them for sure. If we are not so determined, then we will be in a loop and have to remove them again and again. Lust, desire and human notions are not thoughts from our main consciousness. They are pollutants accumulated from our many life cycles. They are contrary to our vows to help Master to save sentient beings, not our real thoughts from our main consciousness.

From the perspective of the cosmos' structure, the god of qing in the three realms controls and manages beings in the three realms. When we Dafa disciples mistakenly think that qing and desires (including birth, old age, sickness and death) are part of the human life, and even think they are our own thoughts, the god of qing will automatically come to control us. Then we are in the same state as ordinary people. When Dafa disciples come to realize rationally that lust and desire are controlled by the god of qing, we should disregard them. Dafa disciples should not allow them to take advantage of any loopholes. If we can knowingly look at our human selves from the perspective of enlightened beings, we will then find that qing, lust and desire are created by the god of qing in this realm, who is able to manage beings at this level and is executing a mission bestowed by higher beings. We Dafa disciples who have been on the cultivation path for many years and have been helping Master to save sentient beings have nothing to do with these things. Realizing this, we will find that the Great Way of Cultivation is easy and simple and we should put more efforts into saving sentient beings.
