(Minghui.org) Jiangxi Province Women’s Forced Labor Camp is notorious for its ill-treatment of Falun Gong practitioners since the communist regime began the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999. Recently, camp officials have intensified the persecution and forced practitioners to do slave labor.

It was learned that most of the practitioners detained in this forced labor camp are in their 50s. They are made to do slave labor for more than 10 hours a day, from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. without a break. The guards only give them about 10 minutes to eat.

They produce button parts for computers, and each practitioner has to make around 5,000 parts per day. The work is done without any protective gear—not even gloves. This has caused practitioners’ hands to easily blister, bruise, and even fester, and they look horrible.

The guards also make life difficult for practitioners who cannot finish their workload. They refuse to allow practitioners to buy personal items and do not let their relatives visit them.

Because of the long-term, intense mistreatment, many practitioners are in very poor condition. Some practitioners’ hair has turned completely white in a short period of time.
