(Minghui.org) On the occasion of the upcoming 13th World Falun Dafa Day and the 20th anniversary of the introduction of Falun Dafa to the public, the New Jersey Senate and General Assembly Jointly passed a Legislative Resolution to recognize the significant contributions of Falun Dafa’s founder Master Li Hongzhi, to note the significance of World Falun Dafa Day, to acknowledge New Jersey Falun Dafa Month, and to commend the practitioners for their commitment and dedication to this advanced cultivation and practice system.

Whereas, The Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey are pleased to note that World Falun Dafa Day, May 13, 2012, will take place during New Jersey Falun Dafa Month; and
Whereas, During World Falun Dafa Month, practitioners will offer free exercise and meditation classes and perform demonstrations of dances, music, singing, and the lion dance at the Buchmuller Park of Secaucus on May 12, 2012; and
Whereas, Under the guidance of its founder, Master Li Hongzhi, the practice of Falun Dafa has helped to improve the health, purify the minds, uplift the spirits, and deepen the understanding of its adherents; and
Whereas, Since its introduction at Rutgers University in 1996, Falun Dafa has touched the lives of numerous residents of New Jersey, and free workshops, have been offered throughout the State in libraries, community centers, senior citizen centers, universities, health expos, parks, and Y. M. C. A.s; and
Whereas, it is both proper and fitting for this Legislative to note the significance of World Falun Dafa Day, May 13, 2012, during New Jersey Falun Dafa Month, and to recognize the significant contributions of its founder, Master Li Hongzhi; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
That this Legislative hereby joins in acknowledging World Falun Dafa Day and New Jersey Falun Dafa Month and commends the practitioners for their commitment and dedication to this advanced cultivation and practice system; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a duly authenticated copy of this resolution be signed by the Senate President and the Assembly Speaker and attested by the Senate Secretary and the Assembly Clerk.
