(Minghui.org) More than a year has passed, but when I recall the tears on that elderly lady’s face, I still well up myself. In the human world, Falun Dafa can overcome all language barriers and move people's hearts.
Last spring, I worked in a small town in Germany. A Turkish lady in her 70s lived upstairs. Due to her age or working hard at a young age (I knew she had 8 children), she appeared to be in agony while walking.
One day, I helped her to carry some groceries upstairs. She warmly invited me in for coffee. Because I had a busy schedule and did not know how to speak German, I declined. I also thought I should simply help her out of kindness, as she was old.
In the following days, I frequently helped her do such things. I also thought about telling her about Falun Dafa. The elderly lady invited me in again for coffee. This time, I accepted. While preparing the coffee, she spoke to me, but I didn't understand.
I looked at this kind elderly lady and thought that she might have waited for Dafa her whole life. I said to her in English, “Follow me to read, ‘Falun Dafa is great!’”
She read with me sincerely word by word. When she read the phrase for a second time, tears ran down her cheek. But she continued following me to read, “Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.”
Then she hugged me. I could feel her trembling, and could tell her heart had been moved. It was as if she had said, “What I have waited for has finally come.”
Falun Dafa transcended race, language, experience and all complex memory. Her initial yearning deep in her heart was revived. Reading the words, ‘Falun Dafa is great,’ she was deeply touched. At that moment, I understood more the infinite meaning of boundless Dafa.
