(Minghur.org) Ms. Gao Congyan, Ms. Sun Lianjun, and other Falun Gong practitioners were recently detained in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province, where they were subjected to brutal mistreatment.
Ms. Gao Congyan refused to renounce Falun Gong, so she was forcibly taken away from her room ten minutes before everyone got up, and then taken to be tortured. She was returned after everyone else was asleep. She was persecuted this way for six months, and was recently transferred to a different division.
Ms. Sun Lianjun has been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution for more than six months. She was locked to the ground, deprived of sleep, and force-fed every day.
When Ms. Gao Hongying was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, she was unconscious, and was carried in on a stretcher. Her face and body were covered in bruises. However, right after she woke up a day later, she was forced to sit on a small stool every day. When Ms. Gao started a hunger strike to protest the persecution, she was tied to a death bed, and force-fed with her mouth pried open. She was subjected to this torture for six days. Ms. Chen Shuyan was also tortured in this manner.
Ms. Liu Yaru and Ms. Qiu Tieyan were tortured by way of the stretching torture and long-time squatting. They were forced to maintain a squatting position for up to an entire day.
When Ms. Wang Yonghua and Ms. Gao Fuling refused to cooperate with the brainwashing activities, they were sent away to be persecuted.
Ms. Zhang Shuxia arrived at the labor camp with a fractured skull and a limp, but the guards continued to torture her with the squatting and stretching torture.
All the detained practitioners were forced to say hello to the guards when they met. Any practitioner who refused to do so was punished with up to an entire day of standing or squatting.
