(Minghui.org) I've been wanting to share with practitioners since the Wang Lijun incident was publicized, but kept procrastinating. On the surface, it could be because I was busy, but, in fact, it was due to my slacking off and interference by bad elements. Recently, I read practitioners' articles on the Minghui website about their understanding of this event. Since they have already mentioned the crucial cultivation issues and stated their righteous understandings in relation to the incident, I won't elaborate here. I would like to share about how we can use this opportunity to keep up with Teacher's Fa-rectification.
Teacher has said in his lectures that Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples must do the three things well. Now that the greater cosmic changes have brought forth these conditions, how do we do the three things based on the current situation? I think we should begin with the inner meanings of the three things (the three things Teacher mentioned contain deep inner meanings, but I can only talk about my own understanding).
Study the Fa often and study it well
Teacher has said in many lectures that Dafa disciples must often study the Fa. This is to ensure we can assist Teacher in Fa-rectification and consummate. When we are on the Fa, we will less likely deviate from it. We can then maintain righteous thoughts and lessen and negate the interference from the old forces and bad elements. Teacher said, “With such an enormous Fa here, the Fa will be with you when your thoughts are righteous, and this is the greatest assurance.” (“Fa Teaching Given in Manhattan”)
When new developments and situations arise during the Fa-rectification, we should seek guidance from the Fa. When we study the Fa with diligence, we will find passages that target the situation, because everything is within Dafa. Since many practitioners have already shared on this issue, I won't elaborate further. I'm just going to share Teacher's quote from “Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference,”
“The situation during Fa-rectification is bound to change constantly. Someone once asked me, 'Master, what point should we have gotten to now?' And I said, 'Just do what you should be doing at present.' Fa-rectification in the cosmos won't change momentarily as we speak. (Audience laughs) When in Fa-rectification some sort of change needs to happen, a situation will definitely arise, but the emergence of the new situation will stir up certain attachments that arise from human thinking. Because it is humans cultivating, the attachments that are still there will have an effect. That is why an emotion that isn't right will arise inside some people, and they will even get foggy headed and understand things as an ordinary person would.”
Increase the Time and Frequency of Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts
Many practitioners have experienced the power of sending forth righteous thoughts. After I returned to Dafa, though I could not see with my celestial eye, I learned about the effects of sending forth righteous thoughts. I understand that Teacher gave us this tool to eliminate the bad elements and rectify ourselves. Thus, we should utilize this tool on a daily basis, and especially during crucial moments, to disintegrate the evil. Last year, when the rumor of Jiang's death was proved to be wrong, it greatly affected our truth clarification activities. We added the phrase, “eliminate the demonic influence behind Jiang,” when we sent forth righteous thoughts. With the latest incident, we should now add, “eliminate the demonic elements behind Wang, Bo, and Zhou,” and increase the time and frequency of sending forth righteous thoughts. Practitioners should come together and assist Teacher to accelerate the progress of Fa-rectification. We cannot sit around and wait, but should fulfill our responsibilities. From studying the Fa and looking at the current situation, I realize the evil elements are now seeing their fate and might struggle till the end. Teacher said that if practitioners could do what the Fa requires of us, and send righteous thoughts together for five minutes, we could disintegrate all the bad elements within the Three Realms. I suggest that, if necessary, we should choose a specific time and send righteous thoughts to one or several evil entities. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)
Add Relevant Content and Enhance the Effect of Truth Clarification
Since people are more interested in the topic of Wang Lijun, we have been using it as a lead point of discussion when we distribute material or talk to people. The result has been good. From a Minghui magazine, “Mingbai” (Volume No. 19), we excerpted the part on Wang Lijun and Bo Xilai's involvement in the human organ harvesting. We printed and distributed the fliers to help people understand the facts. The content was even more interesting when we added the information about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, thus, persuading many to quit the Party.
Once I talked to some food vendors about the restaurant industry using swill-cooked oil, then eased into the topic of people losing their moral standards. I said, “The CCP does not care about people's quality of life—it is too corrupt and busy with infighting. The Wang Lijun incident is an outcome of their infighting.” This caught their attention. I continued, “Wang went to the American Consulate and handed them some documents that included Bo and Zhou's plan to circumvent the succession of Xi, and evidence of organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners in the Liaoning area. In fact, Wang himself was also involved in it, which was proven by the testimony given by the witness who served as a police officer under Wang Lijun. Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted because they insist on following the principles of 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.' In the near future, those who belong to the CCP's affiliated organizations will meet their fate. But heaven has mercy on sentient beings, so those who quit the Party will be spared.” The three vendors quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
One time, I saw an amulet(1) hanging inside a taxi cab. As I was getting ready to use that as a topic to clarify the truth, the driver said, “A Falun Gong practitioner rode in my cab. As soon as he got in the car he asked me if I was a member of the CCP. The practitioner talked the entire trip.” So I asked the driver, “Did you quit the Party?” He replied, “I'm not a CCP member,” and wanted to change the subject, so I continued, “People are now talking about the Wang Lijun incident. Cab drivers can usually hear the latest news. Do you know what's going on?” He said he did not know much about it. I told him I knew some details and shared with him about the infighting, the persecution of Falun Gong, and the organ harvesting. Finally I mentioned about quitting the Party, and he gladly agreed and kept thanking me. With Teacher's compassion and help and practitioners' collaboration, this person finally obtained salvation.
Some people have been deceived by Bo's so-called “singing the songs praising the Party and striking the gangsters” and consider Bo a victim of the Wang Lijun incident. When I clarify the truth, I talk about Bo's conduct (he kicked his father and broke his rib cage), Jiang Zemin and Bo's father's shady transactions, Bo's persecution of Falun Gong to gain political status, Wang's role in the organ harvesting in Liaoning Province, the Sujiatun case, etc. Can we call these people victims? Can we not hold a government that conceals the truth in contempt? Wouldn't a regime like this eventually collapse? Cosmic changes have being revealed (as in the Chinese characters on the “Hidden Stone in Guizhou Province”). The bad guys cannot always be in power. The only way to avoid calamity is to recognize Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
The above are my understandings in regard to using the Wang Lijun incident to do the three things well. Many practitioners are quietly doing the three things and validating the Fa. This incident made me realize that the closer we get to the end, the more we should remember Teacher's words,
“As for what lies ahead, things might change more and more quickly. But, as I brought up when teaching the Fa to you before, whether the change in the state of society is negative or positive, or, put another way, whether what comes about is bad or good, it is a test for our Dafa disciples all the same, and not a reason to become content. If things really do change for the better, it will be a different sort of test for you, and you still shouldn't become content. By all means you need to do what a Dafa disciple should do, maintaining your righteous thoughts.” (“Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference VII)
Note: (1) Amulets and talismans – In China, practitioners sometimes "clarify the truth" by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
