Indonesia: Spreading the Goodness of Falun Dafa in Jakarta (Photos)

(Minghui. org) On the afternoon of April 14, 2012, Falun Dafa practitioners held activities in front of the traffic circle fountain of the Hotel Indonesia in Jakarta. They wanted to raise people's awareness of Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, that follows the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and that has been warmly embraced by people from all over the world.

The event was held in the busy downtown area, and many vehicles passed by. The Jakarta Divine Land Marching Band played several pieces and also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Huge banners and flags bearing the messages “Falun Dafa” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” fluttered in the wind and drew people's attention. The community and security personnel responded positively to the event. Many drivers slowed down to get truth clarification brochures. They also gave a “thumbs-up” to express their support and took photos.

This event is one of the activities being held in big cities throughout Indonesia in anticipation of the upcoming “Falun Dafa Month.” Participating practitioners expressed their happiness and gratitude. One said, “We are happy to be cultivators and grateful to Master Li Hongzhi for introducing Falun Dafa to the public 20 years ago.”

Although Falun Dafa has been subjected to persecution and slander in China since 1999, more and more people around the world have begun practicing Falun Dafa, including many Indonesians.
