(Clearwisdom.net) On November 15, 2011, two members of the Political and Legal Committee in Tangerli Town, Sun Yanbin and Cao Guijun, led an illegal raid on the home of Ms. Rong Dehuan. After entering her home, they asked if Ms. Rong or her mother were still practicing Falun Gong. Both ladies confirmed, “The reason we practice Falun Gong is to get rid of sickness, restore health, and be good. Please do not persecute good people. To persecute us will certainly bring retribution—there are divine beings everywhere.”
Sun Yanbin said in a hushed tone, “There's no need to worry or get angry. We're not arresting you—we're not persecuting you, are we?” While he was saying this, one of his co-conspirators went out to make a phone call. It didn't take long before several police officers from Tangerli Station rushed in, pushed Ms. Rong down and handcuffed her. They insulted her with foul language and laughed at her. She was then taken to Langfang's 610 Office Brainwashing Center.
In the brainwashing center, one of guards, Chen Bin, said, “We don't drug the rice anymore.” He realized immediately that he had said too much and corrected himself: “We've never added any drugs.” Although there were no witnesses to the tampering itself, Ms. Rong was not able to sleep all night after eating some of the rice. Guards Li Hansong, Han Zhiguang, and Chen Bin threatened that they could easily have Rong Dehuan sentenced to a forced labor camp in either Tangshan or Wanzhuang.
Torture reenactment: Force-feeding
Ms. Rong went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, but she was force-fed. In the process, she almost choked. The force-feeding was successful in making her eat again, but after eating, she was again unable to sleep. After a few days of this, she became so confused that she was then considered “transformed.” She regained her senses upon returning home and reaffirmed her faith.
