(Clearwisdom.net) After the Chinese New Year, Baozi, my cousin’s husband, visited my mother-in-law. We were all very surprised to see him looking so healthy. His face was glowing and he looked very strong. We found out that Falun Gong had given him a new life.
A few years ago, Baozi had femoral head necrosis, a serious and painful condition that occurs when the blood supply to the bone is interrupted. His suffering was such that thoughts of suicide were not uncommon.
Baozi lives in Inner Mongolia. He spent a lot of money in search of a cure and went to many hospitals. Nothing helped, so his health deteriorated and he became bedridden. He couldn't even take care of himself anymore. In his mind he believed that it was hopeless, so he collected enough sleeping pills to commit suicide, as the pain had become excruciating.
My cousin spoke to my wife about about how helpless she felt and how terribly Baozi was suffering. My wife invited them to come to our home and try some traditional Chinese medicine. Besides, several of our family members practiced Falun Gong. We told him many stories about how Dafa helped people to return to health and how the practice strengthened the body. He didn’t quite believe it, but he said that since he had been with us, his pain was subsiding more and more. With our encouragement, he decided do the exercises while still undergoing traditional Chinese medicine treatments.
Seven days after Baozi started doing the exercises, he said, “I had a dream last night. A doctor gave me a pill. And guess what, my leg did not hurt in the morning.” We encouraged him to do the exercises more and study the Falun Gong books.
On the tenth day of doing the exercises, I took him to our local hospital for a check up. The diagnosis showed that the femoral head was fine. Baozi didn’t believe it, so the doctor took a second x-ray, which again showed no abnormality.
Baozi was elated. He said, “I definitely wasn't cured by traditional Chinese medicine. I sold pork before I contracted this illness and the femoral head bone is the hardest bone in the body. There is no way that traditional Chinese medicine could cure it so quickly. It was Falun Dafa that made me healthy again.”
Baozi told us that my cousin had taken many Falun Gong materials to her hometown. Baozi said, "Let me distribute them because you are not familiar with this area." He distributed all of the materials in the middle of the night.
It is absolutely true that one will be blessed if one speaks up for Falun Gong.
We are very happy to see a strong and healthy Baozi today. Baozi and his wife have continued to practice Falun Gong since that time they first started a few years ago. They now live by the Falun Gong principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
