(Minghui.org) I was fortunate to acquire the Fa in March 1999 at the age of 60. I studied the Fa and practiced the exercises with fellow practitioners every day. I benefited greatly from Dafa both physically and mentally and I was full of joy. After 15 years of cultivation, my body and mind have completely changed. If there is a conflict, I do not care about what other the person did to me, and I would rather lose my own personal interests so as to accumulate virtue. Facing all kinds of different personal interests, I was not moved even when people said I was a fool. I just followed the course of nature. After I passed the test of sentimentality, no matter how badly people treated my relatives or me or how much pain they caused us, I was able to settle the karmic relationship with compassion. No matter how close my relatives are to me, they could not use emotion on me, and I was able to hold firmly to the things that practitioners should always do. I can use divine power to eliminate the interference and persecution. Everyday human theories could not have changed me so profoundly. Only Dafa could do it.
Falun Dafa is the most divine and has created countless selfless and noble beings. Their lights shine on heaven and earth. They’ve eliminated many evils and brought the truth to sentient beings. During my 15 years' cultivation, I’ve made many memories. Below I have listed a few highlights to show my great gratitude to Compassionate Master and Dafa!
A Few Cultivation Experiences
1. Immediately after July 20, 1999, when the unlawful persecution began, I went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa. In Beijing, a policeman lit a cigarette and pressed it on the back of my hand. I understood that a righteous practitioner should not be abused. I shouted, “Get your hand off me!” His hand holding the cigarette shook with my words, and his face turned blue. He looked at me with fear and moved his hand away.
I looked at my hand and saw there was no mark at all, nor did it hurt. I understood that compassionate Master protected me.
2. The middle school in my town had a window set up with Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda that slandered Master and Dafa. I felt very sad when I saw it. I knew that I should not let it poison the sentient beings and I thought that I would have to get rid of it. The school had strict administrative procedures and was locked early in the morning and at night. At other times it was filled with students and teachers. At that time I wasn’t aware that I had divine powers, but I did have strong thoughts of safeguarding Master and Dafa, so I was not afraid. Before I went to the school, I sent forth righteous thoughts so that no one would see me. I walked to the window, opened it calmly, and used small scissors to cut the offending paper into pieces. Then I closed the window.
Neither the teachers nor the students saw me. The window bulletin board display was soon changed out.
3. The day before the 2004 Chinese New Year, another practitioner and I went out to clarify the facts face to face and persuade people to withdraw from CCP and its affiliated organizations. When we walked to a nearby village, we gave flyers and DVDs to a few people who were working in the fields, and we also told them the facts about Falun Dafa. Then we walked to the village. Suddenly, five or six people came out of a yard towards us. Someone who looked like an official said to one of us, “What are you passing out? Give me one.”
The practitioner kept walking forward and did not answer him. When he walked toward me, I noticed that he looked sick and was angry. I had compassion and I asked Master to strengthen me: “Master, please bestow upon me the divine power to suppress all the evils in this area so that sentient beings here will understand the truth and stand on Dafa's side.” Then I said to him, “Brother, I will give you one. Please take a look. Falun Dafa teaches people to be a good and Falun Dafa eliminates illness and strengthens the body.”
Soon everyone in the village opened their doors and came out and began asking for the Dafa materials. When they asked for the truth-clarifying calendar, I told them the calendar could protect their home and harmonize their family, but they must understand the meaning of the contents. Some asked for Dafa amulets(1) for their children. I told them, “The words on the amulet say, 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' If you recite this often, you will be rewarded with goodness. If your children follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be a good person, they will become smarter and healthier.” When they asked for the booklet, I said, “If you understand the real truth of Falun Dafa, you will be rewarded with goodness. When tribulations happen, you will be protected and blessed.”
When we had passed out all the materials, we pressed our hands together to say goodbye and wished their entire family a beautiful future. After we had walked a long way, we saw many people still watching us leave. The other practitioner said excitedly, “We didn’t bring enough flyers.” I profoundly thanked Master from the bottom of my heart for creating such a peaceful energy field for us.
4. In 2010, hand and foot disease spread to my local area, and my niece’s son fell ill with it. At first they thought it was a cold, so they delayed seeking treatment, and the boy's face became infected. Five days later I heard about it went immediately to the hospital to visit him. My niece told me through the gate, “My son still has a high fever. This is too much to bear for me. I cannot sleep.” I asked her, to recite, “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and said, “When your heart is sincere, a miracle will happen.”
She asked me how to have a sincere heart. I told her she must truly believe that Falun Dafa and Truthfulness,-Compassion-Forbearance are good. During the night, my niece called me to say the boy's temperature was back to normal and he would be ready to leave the hospital the following day. Since then, my niece has believed in Falun Dafa and she also became a better person. Her son also became quite intelligent and has a good nature.
5. Last year my elder sister's daughter-in-law gave had a baby boy. My sister called me to help in the hospital. When I arrived, my sister was angry with her daughter-in-law. She threw the hospital bill onto the nightstand and said, “We’ve spent over 6,000 yuan in just two days.” My sister then led me to the newborns' intensive care room. The doctor said the baby was very sick. My neighbor was the director of the hospital. We asked him about child's situation. We had to put on sterile clothing before we could see the boy. The child wore an oxygen mask and had a stomach tube inserted. He could not eat or breathe. His head leaned to one side, and there was white foam around his mouth. Both eyes were closed tightly. After we walked out, my sister told me angrily, “The first fetus was a stillbirth. It's the same thing again.” I calmed her with kindness and told her Dafa's principles about this situation in the human world, and soon my sister was no longer angry.
I thought that the only way to save this family was through Dafa. When I decided to clarify the truth to the baby's mother, no one interfered with me. It took an hour to clarify the truth to her. I told her how Falun Gong teaches people to be good, and I gave her real life examples of dangerous situations being safely resolved after people recited “Falun Dafa is good” sincerely. Gradually her face and eyes were full of belief and respect for Dafa.
Then I told her, “If your child gets better, do not forget how your family benefited from Dafa. Please tell all your friends and families about the greatness of Dafa and let them benefit from Dafa, too.” Then she withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
The next afternoon, my sister and I went to the baby’s CT scan. When the doctor put the infant on the table, he rubbed his face. When we moved his hand away, we saw a lovely, angelic smile. He looked so beautiful that my sister cried out with joy and held the child in her arms. On her was face was a big happy smile. After two or three days, the baby went home. Dafa saved one child and two families.
A Few Highlights from Clarifying the Truth
1. I went to my hometown to clarify the truth and introduce Dafa to people. My elder sister had been hospitalized and no one was with her, so I took the initiative to stay and take care of her. There were four patients in the hospital room and I clarified the truth to them and asked them to remember, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” so that they would be rewarded with good. While I was talking, one of them said, “I knew you were a Falun Gong practitioner as soon as you started to speak. Do you know who am I?” She asked. “I am in charge of persecuting Falun Gong.” She asked me, “Do you know why people get sick?” I told her the Fa principle of karmic retribution.
After speaking with her for a while, she said, “I finally understand that Falun Gong allows people to follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and to be a good person. It is the heavenly principle that good will be rewarded with good and evil will receive retribution.” When she left the hospital, I asked her, “What do you want to do when you go home?” She said very firmly, “I want to practice Falun Gong.”
2. I went to a university to introduce the Fa and save sentient beings. I visited my old boss, who was the CCP Party secretary of the university during the 1970s, the head of the education bureau during the 80s, and the CCP Party secretary of a police station during the 90s. His wife is also a dean of an elementary school. I clarified the truth to them and they agreed to withdraw from CCP and its related organizations.
On my way home, I passed a gas station and gave Dafa booklets to two young girls on duty. I did not realize there was a big guy close by watching me. I heard him shout, “Falun Gong! Don't go!” Then he walked over to me. I was not afraid at all—I only thought of eliminating the communist evil spirits around him. I stepped off my bicycle and told him with compassion as I handed him a booklet, “This is a gift for you to keep you safe. You must read it. It will really be good for you.” Then he just walked away. It really is like Master said,
“If thoughts are righteous,
evil will collapse”

Note: (1) Amulets – In China, practitioners sometimes clarify the truth by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
