(Minghui.org) A fellow disciple recently said that the topic of Wang Lijun and Bo Xilai is very hot, and his colleagues are all talking about it. Upon returning home, he read several reports on the Epoch Times, and as a result, the news stirred his imagination, and he couldn't calm down to do the exercises.
After the exercises, he realized that he was interfered with. Looking inside calmly, he found the attachment of zealotry: he felt happy that these two criminals would soon be punished. He also found the attachment of dislike/hatred, as well as the attachment of competition. The internal fighting among the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was intriguing, and he noted the attachment of relying on ordinary people, thinking the Premier had a conscience, and hoping Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao could eliminate Jiang's group. This fellow was shocked by his discovery. These human attachments are deviations from our cultivation path. If more disciples think like this, the old forces would sabotage Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao, and make the situation turn bad.
With the Asian-Pacific Satellite and Korean Fifth Satellite broadcasting NTDTV's signal to China, most regions in China can now steadily receive NTDTV. This is a good thing. But some disciples have formed an incorrect state, becoming very attached to watching NTDTV News, seeking ordinary people's news, and failing to use these social changes as our material facts to further clarify the truth to people and save sentient beings. Some practitioners even in the brief time slots during daily group Fa-study or sending forth righteous thoughts, have indulged in discussions about personnel changes among CCP officials out of curiosity, or how the evil party would change. They failed to share with rationality and compassion, how we should collect this information to use in saving people.
This practitioner's words caused me to think this maybe is an issue we need to remind fellow practitioners of in a timely manner. If no one moves under the heavenly climate change, the heavenly climate changes will not be accomplished. But if Dafa disciples' human attachments are too strong, the old forces may push the situation in a negative direction.
Remember how in the early years, the Premier was against the persecution, but due to our human attachment of relying on him, the old forces pushed him to the other side? In 2005, during the CCP Central Committee Meeting, Jiang stepped down, but due to too many practitioners having human attachments of the new leadership, the old forces arranged almost all Politburo members to be from Jiang's gang. The same thing happened with the U.N. Human Rights Commission, the Beijing Olympics, etc. In the past more than twelve years, we've had too many lessons of how our human attachments resulted in negative effects.
Among the four people that Falun Gong requests to bring to justice are the head perpetrators Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, and Zhou Yongkang. Jiang has been in a vegetative state, and the remaining followers, like Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang for sure should step down, because they are up to their necks in scandal, with a long record of crimes and atrocities. They should have stepped down long ago, as part of the heavenly climate changes, and their doing so is a must in Fa-rectification. The truth must also be told about the “Tiananmen self-immolation,” “Falun Gong not allowing practitioners to take medicine,” “the 1400 alleged death cases,” “the April 25 appeal,” and how so many Falun Gong practitioners and family members have suffered brutal mistreatment, but despite enduring hardship, they clarify the truth to people with compassion, helping more and more people obtain a future.
These are good things that would benefit society's stability, and benefit China's future. If Jiang's followers continue to stay in power, they will be worried about facing justice, therefore, they would try with all their might to continue the persecution. In that case, all people, including those who do not want to persecute Falun Gong, would be forced to be part of the persecution, acquire karma and bear responsibility as a result. Those who do not want to join the persecution would not want to be forced to, but do they have the virtue and courage to resist? This is a historical question ordinary people need to think about. At the same time, as Dafa disciples, we cultivators should not think about evildoers stepping down with human emotions, notions, attachments and pursuits; otherwise we will get a negative, not a positive, effect. The mistakes we made repeatedly should not be made again.
Some practitioners may ask, what attitude should we have, then? I enlightened that we should carefully do the three things well, and not take ourselves as ordinary people. We should think from Master's Fa-rectification standpoint, see things and people with a stable, calm, unmoved, compassionate, mind free of attachments. We should not be too attached to any social changes, but use them well to save more sentient beings. We should never be like ordinary people who read the Epoch Times. We are deciding the situation's trends, and must stay out of it to do the right thing. Without attachments and with no pursuit, we then can remain above the situation. We should remain rational as helpers of Fa-rectification.
We genuine disciples must remember Master's teaching:
“Human society is a good place for cultivation, since everything here can lead to attachments. Precisely because of this, a person who is able to step out of it and get rid of all his attachments to human society is magnificent and is able to reach Consummation” (“No Politics,” Essentials for Further Advancement II)
