(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Shulian has been illegally detained in the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp. She is being abused by the guards and inmates with various methods, including beatings, sleep deprivation, solitary confinement. She cannot hold anything with her right arm as a result of the beatings.
Ms. Wang was reported and arrested for speaking with people about Falun Gong on a bus on June 25, 2011. She was released on July 9, after 15 days of detention; however, she was arrested again on July 26. She was later sentenced to two years of forced labor and taken to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan.
On August 9, 2011, Ms. Wang was transferred to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp. She pressed her hands against her stomach, as she was suffering from a stomachache. Zhu Yuanli saw her and claimed that she was doing the Falun Gong exercises. Chief guard Lu Yaqin took Ms. Wang to the confinement room and forced her to do the Falun Gong exercises continuously. She was beaten whenever she stopped. Inmates Liu Man, Zhang Qi, and Zhu Yuanli kept beating Ms. Wang. She was bruised all over, and blood was spattered on the floor, the wall, and her body from her nose and mouth. They continued beating her on the third day, and deprived her of sleep. Ms. Wang has had a headache since then and she cannot fall asleep. She has no strength in her right arm, and she cannot lift, stretch, or hold anything.
In November, Ms. Wang was beaten for singing songs praising Falun Gong. Inmates Zhang Qi and Zhu Yuanli locked her in solitary confinement. In December, Ms. Wang was beaten three times by the new chief guard Liu Yamin for speaking with people about Falun Gong.
