(Clearwisdom.net) In explaining the facts about Falun Gong to police, procuratorate, judicial, and government employees face to face, I finally realized that the biggest obstacle is their atheistic ideology. It is like a “sickness of the spirit” that exists in another dimension, controlling people's minds, especially those that are members of the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations who have been imprinted by its evil ideology. And its “field of sickness” has an impact on people in the larger, mainstream society, manifesting in their avoiding hearing or reading about the facts of Falun Gong like the plague. I tried to break through their atheistic ideology in different ways. The result was either stepping into a debate trap or a refusal to listen or read anything. There seemed to be no way to deal with it, so there was little or no progress.
In an event arranged by Master, I was asked by those proudly self-proclaimed atheists, “Can you tell what divine beings look like? What exactly is a divine being you are talking about? We don't have any idea.” And they mentioned the crucifixion of Jesus, which is not the state of a divine being that I wanted to convey! While I tried hard but still unable to verbalize it, a sentence suddenly came to my mind: “To understand divine beings, you need to watch Shen Yun!” So I said, “Yes, watch Shen Yun! Shen Yun can show you the different styles and personifications of divine beings.” When I really hit the point, they immediately became very interested and asked what Shen Yun was and where to find Shen Yun. Unfortunately I did not have any Shen Yun DVDs in my hand.
From this incident, I realized the extraordinary significance of Master leading Shen Yun himself, our mission and responsibility to spread Shen Yun in China, as well as the right mentality and righteous thoughts we should have in the dissemination process. Specifically, do we have a clear understanding of Shen Yun's role in saving sentient beings? I have always understood Shen Yun's significance, but have not been able to meaningfully convey my understandings of and feelings for Shen Yun. I only had a general idea of Shen Yun's ability to save sentient beings, but I did not truly recognize that Shen Yun is the Fa instrument that can conquer atheistic ideology. Shen Yun, from its connotations to the performance itself, disintegrates the poison of atheism in Chinese people at all levels. At the same time, the bearer of Shen Yun DVDs, the DVDs themselves, and their decorations are also a part of this “Fa instrument.” When we hand someone a DVD, as messengers of divine beings, we reconnect the relationship between human and divine beings, and atheism is naturally destroyed. When the root cause is found, another door is opened.
This incident made me look inward for reasons why I had failed in my truth-clarification efforts. The obstacle was still the mentality of validating oneself. When encountering problems I had not fundamentally comprehended the Fa and neglected to use Fa principles to figure things out. Instead, I was attached to human notions and always tried to assess how I, myself, could overcome the obstacle of atheistic ideology in others' thinking. When I spoke with people based on human notions, I forgot the inner content of Dafa; that's why I would get caught in a debate. When we truly think of others, we can understand the realm of selflessness; then the power of the Fa will reveal itself.
